Some time ago asked for help, because could not remove *.url files, because are inuse by some app.
Today i find the culprit, and one solution. The culprit is Indexing Service, and his process cidaemon.exe.
Solution: from Task Manager end "cidaemon.exe" process, and if you allready tryed to remove some file, the file are automatic removed.
To start back the process use from startmenu run: "cidaemon.exe" DownLevelDaemon "c:\system volume information\catalog.wci"
And, also, seems that after stoping/restarting cidaemon.exe, no more troubles with removing same files/kind of files.
Thinking back, maybe peoples errors when use rvmi and nLite, can result and from fact that this service is running?
Somebody knows if/how Indexing Service and his process can be configured to exclude certain files/folders/drives?
