Worked for me, however I had the entry at the beginning of batch.

EDIT: Dammit how come I fogot to tell you guys that computer didn't restart? :rolleyes: Works like charm :D

@ryanvm: could you also add the "WEBSTARTICON=0" parameter?
(tells the installer to not create the Java Web Start icon on the desktop)

Well I did not get the java web start icon on my desktop.

And it did not restart when done. :)

2 installs on different PCs no reboot got a couple o' more to do tonight Java will go on both so will be testing on those also.

I'm betting you're using a download manager which handles referrers very poorly. Disable it and try again.

Hi Ryan,

I wanted to ask is the restart problem the same as the one in Acrobat Reader 7?

If yes i could test this on another computer i have which have restart problem when install Reader 7.

Reader 7 AFAIK was caused by users installing over old versions.

So far so good Ryan has not rebooted when used on a live system was previously rebooting. Just need to test in UA.
