[Request] - A 6-in-1 Java installer/addon

I have used and recommended Kel's Java installers for a long time now. But I've learned recently, through shiner, that gora has expanded on Kel's work and made 4-in-1 and 6-in-1 dual-arch Java installers/addons, combining Java 6, 7 and 8, carrying on in the tradition of Kel's wonderful installers. They are currently only available over at OSZone.net, and only in Russian, at least the user interaction part is in Russian. I would like to request that gora, or Kel if he would prefer since he "started" these Java installers in their current form, make an English version of the 4-in-1 and 6-in-1 releases and post them here at RyanVM.net, preferably NOT password protected, so that we can both learn from a master of the craft and so that we can adjust and adapt them to our individual needs if necessary. Of course if it is felt that PW protection is required then I can respect that. I would very much appreciate it.

A script from gora or Onepiece to allow us to build our own AIO would be icing on the cake.

So please by all means use my methodology as much as you can to further the java installer cause!

I would need help with the first, basic script!

Java 8 ? i didn't know is out? afaik still 7 is not official ? Btw is there reason to install both 6 and 7 versions in same time, and Onepiece script work like charm for now.

I didn't know anything about Java 8 being available in any form either until I saw gora's addon. As to why install multiple versions of Java, as I posted in Kel's thread:

I seem to remember there being an issue with OpenOffice not liking the latest Jave, but I can't put my finger on the proof of that at the moment. One thought would be that as long as the latest official version of Java listed here - http://www.java.com/ - is still Java6, that implies that Java7 is still Beta so it might be appropriate to have a side by side installation. That's the approach I'm taking and what I recommend when asked.

That would also be my thought regarding Jave 8, which I assume is alpha. As long as they are able to be installed, and uninstalled, separately I don't see the harm. When Java 7 goes "official", I would uninstall Java 6. I know this is not necessarily the approach that others might choose, dumpydooby among them, but it has not caused me any problems so far.

Jave 8 is at PREVIEW (build 33) stage which is close to release.

confuses me as well as to why there will be 3 JRE...6,7,8 !
you would think that 7 replaced 6 and 8 would replace 6 & 7.
i guess it's like dotNet

Since you asked for initial help, what would you like? For gora to provide an English version of his addons? gora's maker script? To work with Escorpiom? To utilize Onepiece's script in some way? Everyone seems to be on board, so with you in command, since you were the inspiration for this and you wish to handle the build\host and upkeep, where should we go from here?

I mainly need suggestions and help with the config file.

The gui part is what I really need help with putting all of the runprogram sections is easy.

Seems to me gora would like to offer a multi-lingual version though so lets see if he is willing to.

Although I do destest password protection, so if that is what gora has his as I would rather make our own for here...

When you run SFX on a Russian UI OS will be a Russian interface SFX. On any other OS will be the English interface

I don't see why anyone would need java 8 in 2012. See here...
