In 2020, I started some offtopic posts in the XP SP4 thread based on my observations on the global response to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic (start from here: viewtopic.php?p=158035#p158035 till page 52). There were some elements of the response, that seemed that to target key civil freedoms in the Western democracies, such as bodily autonomy and freedom of expression. Based on the coordinated escalation of government policies against dissidents, I hypothesized that a powerful elite has infiltrated most Western governments and coordinated the transition from democracy to oligarchy: the World Economic Forum at Davos, Switzerland was the main suspect, with several satellite organizations of the Western plutocracy, such as the CFR, the Trilateral Commision, the Atlantic Council, etc. being also suspects. For me, the "Great Reset" plan of the WEF for economic recovery after the pandemic, became a codeword for the transformation of the world order to a new, less democratic, paradigm. Due to my non-compliance with mandatory immunization (ultimately a denial of blind trust to clinical trial results from Big Pharma and a denial of the new status quo) I was suspended in the third trimester of 2021 for 106 days without pay or insurance - a unique experience.

In December 2021, a few days before I ended my suspension, I forecasted that governments will eventually use military force against dissidents, possibly combined with a planned geopolitical turmoil, to accelerate the process. I guessed that Ukraine could be a trigger of that turmoil. In February 2022, Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine. I interpreted this as the onset of the "Great Reset Installation Wizard", as I call it. This is a nerdy way to describe a mechanistic process that will, similar to the installation of an OS, lead to booting a new kernel of the financial system, ie. an entirely new paradigm for money, commodities, debt, etc. and installing a global government controlled by the WEF plutocracy.

Following repeated offtopic comments about the progress of the operation in Ukraine, some users understandably pointed out that there were too many offtopic comments. I decided to move the discussion here, and this will allow me to interact more freely, without trying to keep my interaction at a minimum.

So, today (Novermber 11, 2022) we watch something that may contradict my hypothesis. Vladimir Putin is retreating, probably as part of a secret deal with the Western powers. As a reminder, a few weeks ago the threat of nuclear exchange was deemed to be highest in decades, with allegations from the Russian Defense Minister, that a dirty bomb was about to be detonated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Assuming a Great Reset plan was in effect, and that the young global leader per Prof. Schwab, Vladimir Putin, was part of it, a nuclear exchange would provide the perfect cover for a collapse of the power grid and the loss of ownership and other financial data. A deal to stop the war, would indicate otherwise.

Still, the Special Military Operation is still in progress. The situation is extremely fluid, and the hardliners at Moscow pressure for more military action. The Taiwan situation remains unstable, and any crisis in that region would further destabilize global commerce.

Regarding the events earlier today:

1. There are clearly some pro-escalation forces. Vladimir Putin and Volodimir Zelenskyy seem to be pro-escalation.
2. There are some forces that wish to prevent escalation, even in the US military apparatus (A guess could be that the US Chief of Staff played an important role to defuse the tension).

As someone from the WEF said (see previous posts), it will take a while for the global transformation. The resistance to escalation is still strong.

Of course, we must always remember the words of Prof. Schwab, that global transformation will take some time. Very complex power equilibria are at play here. A 'black swan' event, that would affect infrastructure globally, can be used to accelerate the process. By reducing the complexity of the system (by massive death, deprivation of essential resources, etc) the system becomes easier to change. Interesting points, I would like to address some of them:

1. I call it a conspiracy theory because no-one from the WEF has admitted that their plan is to control a global government after instigating a major crisis, such as a global war. The stigmatization of conspiracy theories is strongly connected with the desire of the elite to control the thinking of the majority of the population (soft power). Professor Schwab has written a book (https://www.amazon.com/COVID-19-Great-R ... 2940631123) on his ideas of stakeholder capitalism, which is presented as something that will benefit communities globally, not as a dark plan to change the financial system. In essence, my belief is that the 'Great Reset' plan needs a major crisis -more serious than the COVID-19 pandemic - and hard power to be enforced on the population globally, in a coordinated manner. This is possible today, due to the strong interconnection between different governments, however a global war may be the major crisis needed. There are several hypotheses about the real plan behind the "Great Reset" - Alex Jones has recently written a book on the matter (https://www.amazon.com/Great-Reset-War- ... 1510774041). There are small differences between Jones' theory and my views: Jones does not consider Vladimir Putin as a possible co-conspirator, for instance.

2. The personality of many elites is similar to what you describe. However, please allow me to avoid black-and-white thinking. I believe that all humans have complex personalities, and even the poorest are capable of major crimes when they assume power. It is the power equilibrium and allocation/availability of resources that will dictate behavior in many circumstances - I know this empirically from my suspension experience. Sometimes, I consider the elites as threatened animals that fear they cannot keep hold of their possessions from the massive number of possible antagonists, and consequently they try to restrain the antagonists. The "hollow class" you mention is needed to maintain the illusion of civility. We saw this during the persecution of vaccine deniers in the pandemic - it was this "hollow class" that wrote essays justifying the persecution, claiming that their suffering was essential for the greater good. It was this class that conducted scientific research and possibly fabricated evidence that this policy was necessary to reach 'herd immunity'. It was this class that "excommunicated" vaccine deniers, as deniers of God's will, as enemies of humanity as a whole. The "hollow class" is just a tool of soft power in the hands of the elite class.

3. Death and pain are the results of hard power (military, economic). They can change the system more than anything else. If we model societies as groups of animals that antagonise each other for a finite amount of resources, then we can understand a reduction of the population will increase the number of resources available to each participant. Of course, this may not be true, if the technological means for the exploitation of the resources are not available to every participant. Technological assets are a core component of economic growth, and the control of technology is also a very important method to change the system, which I omitted. It is not money printing, but the control of information flow and technological assets that is central to the economic manipulation. Money is just debt, nothing more, nothing less. What gives money value is the ability to have access to technology and intelligence.

@travma World War II is a recent example of a conflict that massively changed the global order, from a geopolitical perspective. Germany before the war was a "liberal democracy" (Weimar republic). After the war, half of Germany was occupied by USSR, a "communist regime". If you mean that no war can change the social structure fundamentally (ie cause a change from state system to anarchy), then I would argue that no event in recorded history brought such a degree of destruction that forced communities globally to re-organize bottom-up. I must note, however, that recorded history may be a very short interval in the entire history of the species. Events include all types of crises. Not even The Black Death, with an estimated 200 million deaths (30-50% of the European population, according to some estimates), managed to cause such a change - although some argue it prepared the Western society for the Renaissance, by causing a devaluation of religion.

World War III could be different, due to the massive amount of destructive power available. I must stress out that globalists fear anarchy very much - they will not allow an uncontrolled escalation of such a conflict. My theory is that they will escalate it as much as necessary, by controlling both sides of the conflict, for the population to accept the desired new global order, but avoiding a level of destruction that will necessitate anarchy. This is the exact reason I consider Vladimir Putin as a possible co-conspirator, a plausible hypothesis based on his apparent relation with WEF. Globalists do not wish a fundamental social change, they wish a reconstruction of the global order with them having much more power.

You see, although statism can will eventually bring persecution, corruption, death etc. it offers key conveniences that are very much desired from the community. Who would like to gather food in the natural environment, when they can safely exchange money for food in a supermarket? The statist system has brought key technological advancements by forcing/enabling people to collaborate and cooperate on large projects. The statist system has provided the education and indoctrination needed to allow this collaboration and cooperation.

Let me elaborate on the finite resources issue. It is not a false premise, it is a very practical reality. First of all, we know that the mass of earth is finite, so the amount of resources, as a subset of that mass, is also finite. But of course, our cells cannot take advantage of the entire energy available in that mass, due to energy transfer losses. Technological advancements provide optimization and allow us to take advantage of a large percentage of that energy. I understand your argument that modern technology would allow us to solve problems like hunger and lack of access to drinking water. This is what I state: control of technology and intelligence is the core of financial manipulation. Financial manipulation is essential for the survival of the elite class. They cannot allow the fundamental social change that such a redistribution of assets would cause, because that would be a nondestructive pathway to anarchy. A social system based on anarchy would not allow for the existence of an elite class.

You argue that the tendency to commit crimes is strongly correlated to personality. My experience makes me think that power increases the a posteriori probability of commiting a crime due to the a priori apparent decrease of the probability of receiving punishment or suffering for that act. This is independent of the personality type.

Are the elites right to be afraid? I would say yes, because they have committed many sins, and its their current power (=level of access to resources, ability to influence others) that prevents their punishment and/or suffering. If they lose their power, they will suffer. The current level of security they enjoy will be maintained only if they stay in power.

The entire idea of "search engine optimization" is based on the observation that users browsing the "information superhighway" aka The Internet, tend to focus on the first pages of search engine results. Global order is the set of relations between states and other actors. Changes to the global order happen every day. The term has nothing to do with social prosperity or pain. In academic discourse we strive to use objective measures rather than subjective terms like good or bad. This increases accuracy and reproducibility. Politicians -who are very good in distorting things- suggest that a new global order is always "better" than the previous one, which is a lie or at least subjective.

Natural philosophy absolutely depends on analysis of light propagation. The finite observable universe thesis of general relativity is equivalent to the old philosophical
thesis that cosmos can be studied geometrically (reminder of the Μηδεις αγεωμετρητος εισιτω μοι τη θυρα). This means that natural phenomena that can be observed can be measured - real numbers can describe nature and these numbers are calculated from models of light transmission.

The model of globe earth is consistent with astronomical data and the known laws of light transmission. Notions of geometric optics have been sufficient to infer that if earth was flat then the images of planets on the human retina would appear distorted.

Although the flat earth theory is inconsistent with current evidence, I strongly believe that its proponents must not be persecuted, as some mandarins of the elitists have proposed. A review of the "Discriminatory Attitudes Against the Unvaccinated During a Global Pandemic" survey-based study that was recently published in Nature.

The study is well designed to investigate the correlation between antipathy against other persons and vaccination status. Vaccinated tend to hate the unvaccinated at a significant level. The level of hate was quantified based on self-reported responses to scales assessing respect of their fundamental rights. Questionnaires are a useful research tool of social sciences, although several types of bias could be introduced, including recall bias.
Statistical inference was based on a frequentist framework.

The main study finding appears to be valid. However, there is a huge difficulty - in my opinion - in properly interpreting the finding with the available data. Social systems are very complex, and this study critically omits a discussion of the importance of power in formulating the narratives of the "rightful majority", as I would like to call it. The study states "The cue that someone refuses to take up a vaccine activates
psychological mechanisms designed to deter perceived free-riders among the vaccinated", "Such norms are more reliably associated with cross-cultural differences in discriminatory attitudes than are actual country-level differences in government efforts to produce epidemic control", and "While moralistic communication of collective responsibilities may be an effective strategy to increase vaccination uptake, such strategies may have unintended negative consequences in the form of eliciting prejudice, especially in cultures with strong cooperative norms."

Let me address these points:

1. Hate against unvaccinated persisted even when it was widely accepted that herd immunity was not feasible, rendering the "free rider" argument deprecated.
2. I would like to know how the authors supported this hypothesis with some confidence, when they have clearly failed to perform a systems analysis and estimate the effects and interaction effects of state (or globalist institution) power on the behavior of civil society during the pandemic, using game theory. Probably a scientist from the WEF Strategic Intelligence (if they have the appropriate data of course) could enlighten us here.
3. "unintended negative consequences". Someone could call the authors as conspiracy theorists if they stated otherwise. I understand. But I have first class evidence that this was not an unintended consequence of state policy, at least in Greece (which was excluded from the study, so I cannot criticize the authors here). Law 4682/2020, originally enforced as an Administrative Act on 25 Feb 2020 explicitly stated that civilians that refuse mandatory immunizations and diagnostics were subject to two years of imprisonment, potentially subject to further penalties. The Law is signed by a Global Leader for Tomorrow (2004) of the World Economic Forum, the Greek PM and all members of the cabinet.

This was never enforced, but the Law is still valid, and offers clear -Class A- evidence of the intention of the Greek government to cause hardship of the unvaccinated, well before vaccines were commercially available.

What is it?
Unprocessed, low-level metadata (i.e., raw CMOS sensor data, RAM dumps, raw polymeter data, etc.) collected by open-source hardware documenting the flow of information from the universe to the matrix that researchers call “the data”, with assurances concerning data integrity prior to analysis.

Why is this important?
Currently, in most areas of scientific research – particularly in biomedical sciences – the researcher describes in natural language, the data collection and analytics process. Apart from the limitations and inaccuracies introduced from natural language itself, researchers can deviate from the declared data collection protocols – in some cases because of more powerful agents or due to an attempt to increase their power by pushing a narrative, data can be lost due to natural damage or an attack to the research infrastructure and then fabricated, etc. Assurance metadata are big metadata, with cryptographic and possibly other assurances of their originality, that allow for a far more detailed assessment of the information flow in spacetime, compared to a plain natural language description.

What would it take to implement the idea?
A large, international collaboration of people with several backgrounds: cryptography, natural language theory, information and signal theory, political science, decision theory, bioethics, semiconductor design, etc. who would not be afraid to be called “conspiracy theorists” for questioning the trustworthiness of the scientific authorities that depend on the power of specific individuals, corporations, institutions or governments (who may, for instance, regulate access to funding), and would be ready to propose specific standards of assurance metadata that would – along with published formal proofs of analytic theorems and analytic code – restore epistemic trust.

Is it probable that such changes will be implemented on a large, possibly global scale? Currently, I do not think so. Most of the population – that would have benefited by this idea – seems too powerless to develop the skills and intelligence required to implement it, and those who might do seem uninterested. Still, I can only hope that one day, an implementation of something similar to this idea will become a reality.

Challenge: Will the SARS-CoV-2 immunization resistance community conduct an independent, open science RCT, with metadata offering forensic assurances?
This is an opportunity for me to better understand a large part of what is happening. I already tried to trigger a response from prominent members of the vaccine skepticism movement. I do not care so much about participating in such a project, I just wish to see to implementation of such a procedure.

Thesis: The lack of replication of RCTs of the vaccines (esp. the mRNA ones that claimed "95%" efficacy) indicates serious epistemic issues. Both sides of the immunization argument (even those that claim the vaccine is a bioweapon) seem unwilling to enroll in this highly important process. This can be primarily attributed to the extreme polarization and an increased likelihood of moral hazard.

EDIT (Dec 19 2022): It is the allegations of fraud and absolute lack of replication from other RCTs that concern me most. There should already have been an RCT, even unblinded, in an attempt to replicate the primary endpoint (efficacy), and the safety data.

Regarding the realization of importance of information flow and the effects of power on the scientific process, which has led me to the "assurance metadata" concept, I feel obliged to cite the work of Professor Yuval N. Transhumanism will allow for a great network of devices, where human bodies are just another device. Thus, the possibility of data loss (fraud, etc) will be minimized when information is processed by the human brain. A brief comment on the idea of transhumanism. I see why the elites prefer it, it provides a sensation of being part of a greater mind, and it promises greater intelligence compared to the "subspecies" of the humans without such interfaces.

Comment on the “Why Fiction Trumps Truth” essay

In an essay [1] titled “Why Fiction Trumps Truth”, published in The New York Times in May 2019, Harari discusses the effects of power on truth in epistemic systems. He observes that powerful authorities can force scholars to promote a proposition as knowledge even when it is not true. He considers this phenomenon as a result of neurocognitive mechanisms that protect social cohesion by inhibiting skepticism.

Truth is a core value of epistemic systems. This phenomenon can lead to critical governance failures. A mitigation of this vulnerability is warranted.

Most people tend to form epistemic systems that are vulnerable to this type of attacks against the information flow. Let me call these Type 1 epistemic systems. However, there are some groups of people with special neurocognitive traits that increase epistemic mistrust. These people tend to form epistemic systems that are resilient to this type of attack. Let me call these Type 2 epistemic systems. To date, all Type 2 epistemic systems lack key epistemic values: methods that minimize error, axiomatic systems that produce logical justification for their beliefs. In short, these epistemic systems are resilient to attacks from powerful groups against truth, but they are powerless to discover knowledge. (As a reminder, knowledge is true and justified belief).

A new type of epistemic system can be synthesized which is both resilient to information flow attacks from a powerful agent A and powerful enough to discover knowledge. But this can be achieved only if some members of Type 1 epistemic systems collaborate with members of Type 2 epistemic systems. Thus, previous members of Type 2 epistemic systems can learn methods to justify their beliefs and previous members of Type 1 epistemic systems can learn to be skeptic of authority. Finally, an epistemic shift occurs. Agent A is neutralized.
