How do I create a cab file that contains several files?

How do I create a cab file that contains several files?

Hello,
I want to make a cab file that contains several files. I use this command: makecab.exe c:\file1.dll file1.cab
but this command is making a cab file from 1 file..

Can you please tell me the command for making a serval files?

While this thread exists, I might as well ask if it's possible at all to build an (extract-and-install) SFX-CAB executable like with IExpress, but with subdirectories included?

you can use picozip, its shareware... http://www.picozip.com/downloads.html

Windows XP has a Build-in Component name is IExpress, it's simple to use.

Yes, but as much as I find it useful at times, it's limited by the fact it doesn't support subdirectories.

Er... maybe I'm ignorant and ill-informed, but I had never met a Cab file is subdirectories included (with a forced smile).

If I must use a third-party software, I think the 7z really is better, and the winrar 3.51 was free at a few days ago.

@Antinans I've seen a cab w/subdirs... maybe the 100s of svcpack addons in this site???
