Common Novice user problem

Post by dissel » Sun Oct 22, 2006 11:30 am

hi,
I am new here....as you see...

I download the update pack's(Latest till date) and Ryan's intigrator(Latest) and sucessfully intigrate with Win XP Pro SP2.

But i can't make a bootable CD with that.....Yes, I search and found the similar post in this forum but it can't solve my problem.

When official help page of this site clearly described step-by-step process of intigration....why there is no help page How to make a bootable XP CD after intigration ?

It is like after the Air-plane take off in the sky and run-out it's fuel.

guys don't give me the suggestion to use nlite...coz it seems a Paid software...and i don't want to spend anymore.

In ryan intigrator under Make ISO tab....where to find the ISO img ???

In my case,

Intigrated Folder ---> C:/Updated XP
Original Win XP SP2 CD Source:---> I:/

C:/Updated XP < is the folder where i made the sucessfull intigration and
I:/ < is the CD drive where the XP CD stay during the process.

I throughly cheeck the above mention two location...No ISO found anywhere.

Any one can consider and kind enough to solve my problem ?

Thanks in Advance.

In make iso, YOU insert the location and name of the iso YOU wish to create eg C:\UPDATEXP.iso
and in the volume label put YOUR volume label eg "XPUPDATE"

and then click create.

the integrator will then create the bootable ISO "UPDATEXP.iso" on C:\ for you.

Use ImgBurn to burn and before you go and do anything first test your CD with a free Virtual PC from microsoft

I'm sorry also, but warrior just to took the time to type that out for you and you asked once again if it would do as you asked. It was a bit redundant and i felt the need to point that out to you.

Try using a rewritable disk. I have no problem with them some others do. I was a beginner a few months ago! Ryan and Siginet make improvements faster than they can keep the manual updated. The last manual did lack information on creating ISO.
After creating ISO you can test it on virtual machine before burning disk. As soon as the virtual pc begins to boot right click on the cd icon on lower left and click capture ISO it will popup a menue for you to select the file. The virtual machine does work on XP Home despite the warning when installing it.
