Forum Problem?

Post by armond » Thu Mar 01, 2007 10:21 pm

Hi All,
I'm experiencing a very annoying problem with the ryanvm.net forum.
When I click the View post since last visit (X) link, forum said that no post were found, and I lose all the new posts since my last visit. This happened many time in the last week.
Any of you have the same problem? How to solve it?
Thanks. :(

I actually have that same problem. I use IE7 and for some reason if i delete my temporary internet files after I expereince an error it works fine. I don't know if that will help.

Hmmm... very odd. Do you get that problem often on the RVM Forums? Do you have the same issue on other forums? I know IE7 has it's kinks. Maybe there is some sort of IE addon you guys are using that causes an issue with IE7?

If you login and wait long enough before viewing the new posts your session will be reset which is what causes that message.

If i remember right the length of the session can be set in the config by an admin, though if this is happening to you when loging in and viewing posts straight away i have no idea why.
