Cool 8)... Does this mean an early 2.1.9 release?

I've got todays payload percolating on a pair of VMs, one running XP (with RVM 2.1.8) and the other Server2003. The test/stress routines take about 3 hours to run. If the tests run fine in a VM then we burn an ISO and load up real hardware for an overnight run.

BTW, the test/stress routines we run are disk i/o and tcp/ip stress routines running from MySQL and are designed to push a system to saturation and hold it there. If I'm in a particularly evil mood I'll throw in an instance of seti running at above normal priority.

What we really need is a download that people here can use to run a battery of tests. Something along the lines of an AutoIt script that runs several different built in Windows utilities / applications and even run some third party apps if they're found on the hard drive.

Throw in some logging and error reporting. Just sort of thinking out loud I suppose.

When questioning the size of a download, it's helpful to know what that download actually is........
