Windows Genuine Advantage Notifications (KB905474) on WU/MU?

Hi Guys,

I am updating a new install of Windows XP Professional SP2 today and I have noticed that WGAN is now available again on MU.

I have not seen WGAN for download on MU for some time.

Has anyone else noticed it's re-apearance or am I just lucky? ;)

I see it too. I guess there was a reason Ars Technica ran an article on it recently.

The damn downloaded hotfix package does not integrate properly - or at least does not shut up Microsoft Update or Automatic Updates. Using /passive from RunOnceEX seems to work fine, reboots, and presto....AU starts nagging about installing it again!
