Will nLite accept Switchless Installs?

Post by Zoom7000 » Thu Jul 10, 2008 9:09 am

Just a quick question. I know that the RVM Integrator accepts switchless installs for the T-13 stage. But does nLite support this too or do I have to create an SVCPACK addon?

Why would you ask that here?

I don't know, Zoom7000. I always add them manually to ensure the proper execution order.

Somebody here may be nice enough to provide an answer, Fragbert. It's also possible that Zoom7000 doesn't have a link to nLite's Forum at MSFN.

EDIT: I guess Zoom7000 does have the link, but they haven't received an answer yet.

@Fragbert - Why wouldn't I ask the question? I was asking about Update Packs and felt I might get some help. With replies like yours, obviously not!

@5eraph - Thanks for your help. Still waiting for a reply at MSFN though. Just to be on the safe side I'll create the CABs.

@pen25jf - Yup? Is that yup it will work?

I've made it so you can specify the exact order in AutoImage. A problem for you specifically would probably be that it has not been thoroughly tested in processing x64 images.

Last time I checked, yes, nLite runs at T-13, but I think forums would heklp if you need more specifics.
