I want to have custom oobe for my xp sp3 disc for which i wanna know to to comress the .dll,.gif,.jpg to .dl_,.gi_,.jp_ and vice-versa.....changing the extension wont work as when i rename the default file *.gi_ to *.gif it donot sow anything but we all know its a image file HELP PLZ :oops:


And also can i edit setup.exe(autoplay menu) to my looks by any res editor or is there any other program to do that

File compression was discussed recently, but the CAB Tool homepage seems to have gone offline. There are other alternatives.

Modifying SETUP.EXE is involved, but possible.

i want to decompress .dl_ to .dll so that i can edit it to my needs

I want to edit this but i m not able to open this file in any of the reshacker

n e ways here,this will expand,edit and re cab winntbbu.dll;

7zip can decompress those too, just right click on it and chosse 7-Zip->extract here
