How to remove text on logonui.exe

Hi guys
I want to remove text placed in logonui.exe like "applying your personal settings" ,"Windows is shutting down".
How can i do it?

Seems to me you need to actually TRY more and ask less.

I have found it as you directed me but when i modify the resources through reshak ,I got an error during setup bad image of winlogon.exe then bad image of shell32.dll and then bad image of lass.exe and after that setup was closed.
Where i am wrong can you guide me????

Yea me too...I tried updating a old vista like logonui for xp and I removed some lines and I got a error, something about not finding the line or text error

I think its realted to the uifile, this is not as easy as it may seem

you can remove or hide that text with nlite i believe

umm i think i *do* because i did just that with the last build i made.

edit: Jamshed you might want to try this. select 'none' and it wont display anything. last time i used this method it got rid of all those messages. also got rid of 'welcome' and some other ones that i forget.

oh and in the event that this isnt what you are looking to do then i guess i misunderstood, but even if thats the case it doesnt give ricktendo64 the justification of being rude to me for trying to help another person on this forum.

Thats a regtweak, it will not work if you are making a custom logonui and want the text removed...but if all you wanted was to hide it I guess it will do

i could may be just mayyyyybe make message-less longonui.exe(ill ahve to chek is i cant get arounf thoses problem with the uifile). so the only thing that needs to be done is remove the text,nothing else right?

umm no. you were not contributing anything to that conversation other than 'why dont you do it my way? my way is better' argument. if you actually READ, i was trying to help the guy that was asking questions. you? you didnt really do anything but argue why your method was superior. but guess what? he didnt ask how to do it your way he asked how to do it mine. the only contribution you offered in that thread was to derail the topic and tell people they should do it your way instead. i think you need to read what the definition of karma really means.

and if you break it down, this situation is very similar than the one in the other thread. so if you look at it , ure rude ways are actually being served to you here, so if thats not karma maybe its.. what?,payback? call it what you want but all i know is you = accumulating bad karma.
