.Net Framework 4.0

Post by yumeyao » Mon Apr 12, 2010 1:23 pm

it not available for public download yet, but.....

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=188843

Link to Visual Studio 2010 Express........
a 99.99999% chance .Net Framework 4.0 is included.......

people who are curious enough could have a try to make a switchless installer for .NET 4.0.

Is this the final version of Visual Studio Express and/or .NET 4.0?

yes. Visual Studio 2010 is released today (Apr 12th).

I get the link from the source of http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downlo ... -2010.aspx , which is from the source of http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downloads/ .

and I've also compared the hash code:

This time .NET 4.0 also contains a shell in its installer, just like .NET 3.5....
I haven't given it a administrative try yet, but I can confirm it installs fine without any earlier version of .NET..

The full redist installer is here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 1f31ab88b7

and the client redist intaller here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/deta ... 17111cf544

Client profile installer covers allmost all needs; full version is for asp.net2 applications and web devellopment. Both v4.0 final
dotNET4.0 is a new generation standalone version, not v.2.0-3.5 extension and installs side by side with the previous.

and a little confusion at the moment, I think after some time will no longer install any, are all now obsolete, and indeed dotent4, lock forcefully the installation of dotnet 1, instead about dotent 20-30-35, I think maybe expect some updates to all programs, to use the resources of dotent4 now

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums ... 130ea423d0

but as mentioned earlier, I myself am completely confused at the moment (it seems that now only serves dotnet4, and for the moment remains a choice whether to install the system in only dotent4, and wait for applications are updated, or even put the previous dotnet), and a bit confusing now, expect even dotnet sdk, to take stock of the situation, or to learn more

Ciao.

I have..I thought it was just my comp, been racking my brains trying to figure why things had gotten slower the last few days. Gonna uninstall it and see if it improves.

yep that was the culprit, everything seems to be running like it should again.

dotNet 4.0 Full includes tools for ASP.Net2 and IIS support.
I integrated dotNet 4.0 Client Profile only and it seems not slowing network connectivity startup.
