Adobe Flash Player 11.6 Beta (v11.6.602.105)

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/ ... enotes.pdf
Adobe® Flash® Player 11.6 drives innovation for rich, engaging digital experiences with new features for cross-platform browser-based viewing of expressive rich internet applications, content, and videos across devices. This beta release provides access to the Flash Player 11.6 runtime for Mac OS and Windows desktop environments.

Below are some of the key features and benefits of Flash Player 11.6:

Full Screen Permission Dialog UI Improvement: Changed the location of the the permission dialog to the middle of the screen. Also improved the user experience when going into full screen mode by adding the "Cancel" button.

Graphics Data Query: Developers will be able to read the structure of the display object and read vector data at runtime. For example, game developers can create complex Sprite Sheets or they can create exporters at runtime to any file format (SVG as an example).

Note: This release provides a preview of the Stage3D extended profile for testing and feedback. Stage3D extended profile adds advanced Stage3d rendering techniques to desktop platforms (Mac/Win). This feature will not be available for the released version of Folsom (Flash Player 11.6/ Adobe AIR 3.6). Adobe does not recommend releasing content based on this feature. In order for you to use this feature you will need to download the updated version of the AGALMiniAssembler.

The specialist vmanda is already doing an AIO and his application enable to download latest releases. So this thread is useless crap unless someone can prove me wrong.

It's useful to me for uninstalling and updating Flash on my PCs. Also, I check this thread regularly so I know when to update Flash in my update pack--the security advisory links are useful for this.

I also both use this thread to be able to easily update since I also disable auto updates, and I refer others to this thread as well for informational purposes. cybpsych does us a great service by keeping this as up to date as he does. It is most definitely NOT "useless crap". That comment was extremely disrespectful and you should be ashamed scarface. Be careful or I'll have to introduce you to "my little friend". :)

EDIT: And this is not meant as a ding against vmanda in any way. I consider him a friend and a valued member here who does absolutely wonderful work. I have used some of his makers and addons and he has helped me with some of my projects. But this is a wonderful informational thread that should absolutely remain.

Cheers and Regards

mais vraiment !!

I don't use Vmanda's AIO, so this thread does advise me like others when a Flash update is available.

specialists seraph and ricktendo are right but for time saving there are third party apps like updatechecker.
Ive noticed the valuable specialist Harkaz Ive met on another forum has registered here. This sysprep specialist has released a tutorial that can be useful for some. You have noticed scarface isnt active any longer for winxp here, but hes still working in the shadows on prototypes.

Adobe Flash Player 11.9 Beta (v11.9.900.85), code-named "Irving"

http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html

http://labsdownload.adobe.com/pub/labs/ ... enotes.pdf
This beta release provides access to the Flash Player 11.9 runtime for Windows and Mac OS.

Below are some of the key features and benefits of Flash Player 11.9:

Mac OS 10.9 Support – We have tested against the latest developer releases of OS X 10.9 and are ensuring that Flash Player continues to perform as expected. We have also added support for the latest Apple technologies such as “App Nap” so that Flash Player gets out of the way when not in use and allows your system to remain fast and responsive.

Mac .pkg Installation Support – Deploying Flash Player and keeping it up to date is a critical task for system administrators worldwide. We’re introducing a new .pkg installer format for our distribution partners so we can reduce their workload by allowing them to deploy Flash Player for Mac using their current tools and environments.

Feel like a dummy but here goes: Does Flash no longer have a separate standalone installer for Firefox etc? Could only find the IE installer on the latest 800.174 update page.

and now Adobe Flash Player 11.8.800.175 is out. Again, only for IE.

Curiously, now the link in the first post sent to version .174. From here you can download version .175 - http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplay ... tion3.html

the post #1 links (EXE) are generic installers which will always point to latest stable branch, which is v11.8.

the one from adobe's distribution page are version-specific installers.

build .175 is being pushed now via auto-update and distribution page. The download page (http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer) will be updated on Tuesday, September 24th.
build .174 bug fixes:
3618042 - [WinXP][IE7][IE8] Video may not play properly on some websites after the page is refreshed
3630443 - [External][Windows][IE] ExternalInterface.call() method with non-ASCII text as a parameter corrupts the characters on the Javascript side
3630542 - [External][Windows][IE] JavaScript->Flash AS3 ExternalInterface is not available in IE8 after the first page opening

build .175 bug fixes:
3630443 - [External][Windows][IE] ExternalInterface.call() method with non-ASCII text as a parameter corrupts the characters on the Javascript side
EXE links on post #1 updated and points to v11.8 installers.
