vsuit ramdisk is not a warez is a trialware expire in 11 days

if you like after 11 days of purchase and get a license from the original software
else or uninstall it so

I am sorry then you never mentioned in your original post that you included the trialware version.

Kels,

it is trialware so in essence this package is worthless as a user must pay after 11 days.
not to mention these patches are vaporware!

what is this doing in this sub forum anyways ??????

The idea, to break the 3GB limit in XP, sounds interesting.

Tested/searched somebody if informations about hex hack kernel as is explained in first post?
Original : BB 00 00 10 00 33 FF 6A 07 8B F0
Modify To : BB 00 00 40 00 33 FF 6A 07 8B F0
are valid?

Has anyone tried installing XP gold or XP with SP1 and enable PAE? The result should be the same (= it should detect and use up to 4 GB RAM).

This patch only allows windows to "See" more ram. NOT to be able to use it....

Things like this are happening more and more with 'new' XP users. People (noobs?) trip across long-discredited snake oil and resurrect the 'knowledge' without fully researching things.

I have a 64-bit capable motherboard and 8Gb of RAM installed - for Win7 Ultimate 64-bit and XP Pro x64 w/SP2. I did not try to use the patch but I had bought a license for VSuite Ramdisk Professional and I used it to create a RAM Drive using the RAM above the 4Gb XP ceiling and it works just fine as a location for my \Tmp and \Temp folders and IE's \Temporary Internet Files folder.

Locked by moderator request.

cluberti makes a compelling argument against using a hack like this on MSFN. If you want more accessible memory for running programs then a 64-bit OS is necessary.
