Kel Lives!

Post by Kelsenellenelvian » Fri Jun 29, 2012 10:14 pm

I bet you are all wondering what happened.

Here goes:

Last tues (June 18th) I went and had blood drawn for tests because I wasn't feeling well.

Wed afternoon I get a call from my doctor telling me to check myself into the emergency room because if I didn't I was likely to die. (My blood sugar was 700 and my sodium was 105)

So I went and checked in, they stabalized me and sent me home thurs morning.

WELL thurs day I CRASHED, and my sons called a ambulance. I had gone into diabetic keto acidocis and acute pancreatitus. I spent 6 days in the icu and untill this morning on the regular floor.

Now I am type 1 diabetic because appearently my pancreas digested itself and now I will never be able to produce insulin.

NOW as to my addons and WPI website...

I had been donated a host a very long time ago. Well that has run out...

Is there any one that can assist with hosting?

Welcome back. Glad you're feeling better (and not dead). :)

Don't know anything about hosting a site. Hopefully another kind soul can help out there.

I can probably help with the hosting. Shoot me a PM.
Get up to $200 off on hosting from the same people who host this website!

Yeah, I know the feeling about being a type 1 diabetic. Been that way for at least 18 years (likely had 'pre-diabetes' in my teenage years). I am glad you are doing better. It is a daily struggle to stay alive. Most days I do just fine, but then I have my "bad" days. If you need any tips/pointers, let me know (but then you have a doctor for that too). ;)

I am also happy to see you are updating some of your add ons. Thank you for the work you put into them. Keep up the great work.
