@hobbzilla

You have to start fresh with SP2 and RVM v2.0.1, otherwise you'll be missing some of the security updates incorporated prior to mid-November.

In this case, the versioning does not coincide with that of the RVM Update Pack, it only indicates the revision of this specific addon.

Booggy's is an UpdatePack. Which will integrate everything and expand driver.cab and recab it.

Mine is an addon. Which is to be used in conjunction with the 2.0.1 RVMUpdatePack. Or to be added to a pre integrated RVMUpdatePack source. It does not recab driver.cab because it should be recabed with the 2.0.1 pack allready. So both packs are useful in different ways. ;)

It is great that we have members creating UpdatePacks now! It will relieve a lot of stress from Ryan... and it will give users more choices. ;)

Updated again.
Changes:
v1.5 - Added wusetup.cat (from WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86) to svcpack directory and added the entry to sign it in svcpack.inf. This cat was never signed in the 2.0.1 updatepack... so I added it to this addon. ;)

I think you might have misunderstood my post.

Let me re-phrase (four steps taken thus far):

I have WindowsXP source: #1
I slipstream WindowsXP with SP: #2
I then integrate the 2.0.1 RVM Update: #3
I have then installed v1.3 of this Jan. catch-up addon pack: #4

Now that v1.5 of this catch-up addon pack has been released, can I re-integrate it via nlite or the RVM integrator into #4 or do I have to go all the way back to the point I was at at #3 (which means I'll either have to bust up a #3.iso file or start over and redo steps #1-3.

p.s. @siginet: your updated v1.5 post (top) with the grey & black background Red & Blue text has me looking for some 3D glasses!!

Thanks.

So... did the 3d glasses work? :D haha!

You may be able to integrate it on top of your files. You can try. But... if the cab you used before had individual .inf files for each addon you may have issues. You will need to delete those entries from the sysoc file.

It would be easier and safer to go back to step 3. Sorry. :(

Well I guess there isn't really a need for wusetup.cat (from WindowsUpdateAgent20-x86). The files get signed with or without the cat file... so in my next release I can remove this one. Or if you are using version 1.4 you are fine.
