Yes i know siginet has one released already, but i have been working on mine gathering themes for a while now, besides ive already asked siginets permision to release it.
--INFO
-Total of 62 Visual Styles
-Each with about 3 different shellstyles or more!!
-Which make for a total of 186 diferrent theme combinations
--Note this addon is 15 megs compressed but it will take up slightly less than 300MB's of diskspace on your disk once windows is installed(talk about fubard compression rates)
Minimum requirements for this addon are about 282 mb free space on your harddisk(after install actual addon is only 15.4mb

but because of the way i built this addon its easy as hell to update yay! less work for me, so i may update and add a couple more themes to it, but im waiting to add in increments of at least 15 at a time, and im very picky so i will probably update once a month.

I know some of them had a slate version included with the theme, such as the Royal 5 Color, but it's not the same thing...

i mostly compile batch files when i make them but in this case there was no significant need to do so considering that i did not have to pack any extra resources into the commands,
but a good example of a simply complex file (oxymoron) is the modifype.com file i compiled for the shellext for modifype in kels uber pack, i compiled for the reason that i merged modifype.exe with the code, so regarless of where it was put you would not need to have modifype.exe on your pc to use is.
plus i had to add some extra code in order for it to accepts spaces in paths, i wonder why modifype maker never fixed that.

explanation of the cmd
@echo off --hdes all actions taking place, makes for much cleaner window
%homedrive% accesses the root of the drive on which windows is beeing installed
cd \ makes sure im at the root of the drive
cd %WinDir%\Resources\Themes\ accesses the themes folder of windows
rename automate2.theme cmdow.exe rename function
cmdow @ /HID hides dos window
rename automate3.theme cabarc.exe rename function
CABARC.EXE -o -p X %1 %2\ calling cabarc to extract files directly from cd so there is no need for the cab file to take up disc space on harddisk
del /Q cabarc.exe removes temporary files same for all below
del /Q automate.theme
del /Q automate2.theme
del /Q automate3.theme
exit

Sorry to bump an ageing thread - but is this pack available from anywhere other than rapidshare?
Their website seems to take objection to my ISP's "transparent proxies."
Thanks.

@dgelwin
Thanks for this great pack. By the way it might be a good idea to just add a line to your info in the first post:
-Hacked Uxtheme.dll is included in the pack.
Considering this is true, ofcourse.

Y'know .... I use a 7zip for my themes and then wrote a cmd file to extract the 7zips to the right directories during the setup. The superior compression rate really saved me a lot of space on my disc. *shrug*
Just an idea for future releases of these theme packs I see posted here so often.

LOL!
I have a request...
My multipack and your multipack are compatable... but if you use our packs together... any of the packs that we both use loses the desktop pic. Because your .theme files always seem to overwrite mine. Would it be possible for you to use my .theme pack files in yours so that the desktop pics are still recognised? I tried everything I can think of to have mine dominate... but yours allways wins.
Thanks dglewin!

yes actually there is a way.
This pack is fairly simple to update, so just let me know which theme files its replacing, and i will rename them repack it and update.
on that note i wont have much time to update this so if anyone has any suggestions of any cool themes i should add that are not there, then please post them along with their links, so that i can add them.
note please dont post screenshots in the thread it slows down browsing drastically.

I was thinking you could replace yours with mine. That way if someone uses my pack the pics will be there. If they don't then the pics won't be there.
I'll run a test install later and let you know which ones are affected.

If you use the .them files from my pack they point to the desktop pics in my pack. If you use those .themes in your pack then they will try to show the desktop pics from my pack but will not be able to find them and they will just show a blank desktop as if there was no pic set. So if someone uses our packs together they will see the desktop pics from my pack... but if they only use your pack it will just have a blank desktop pic. In other words it will work better for both of us.

lol!

if you have an existing install and your uxtheme is patched, then simply extract it to your %windir%\resources\themes folder

Nimbus 2 looks a little different I think.
Also
Resident OS
Those any good to you?
And just to be a pain...any chance you could put the file on
YourFileLink.com there seems to be less hoops to jump through to get to the file you want there.
Thanks.

Hi, I installed XP Pro SP2 with update pack 2.10 and WMP10 and also this theme pack. I used RVM integrator. After the install everything workde except none of the themes work and get an invalid theme file error. Did I do something wrong? Thanks for any help. Only the xp theme works.

As posted by dgelwin on 03/04/2006 "and your uxtheme is patched" but on 01/24/2006 he mentions that a pre-patched uxtheme is included.
Recommendation: Remove the pre-patched uxtheme from the addon and use the uxtheme patch addon located at the link in my sig (System File Patches).
