[Release] Mrs Peel's Free Games Collection Addon v1.3-070924

Post by Mrs Peel » Sat Feb 04, 2006 7:01 am

I'm doing an nLite build for a friends grandaughter's PC and the little hunny managed to sweet talk me into getting her together a rather LARGE collection of standalone Flash Games. This is the last of the three packs I will be building for her, so I thought some of y'all might like to enjoy them too.... we are all just kids at heart after all :LOL:

* Block Game
* Card Game 1001
* Classic Word Zap
* Clicking
* Concentration
* Cyber Mind
* Hangman Deluxe
* Kling!
* Line It
* Logical 5
* Memory Test
* NarkoMania
* N-Knights
* N-Queens
* Othello
* Pawn2
* Sheep Game (my personal fave LOL))
* Ski Free
* Space Invaders (GL)
* Traffic Jam
* Uno
* XO
Enjoy!

:D

[Edit 2006/03/08] Recoded ALL Mrs Peel Addon Packs for platform and licensing compliance
[Edit 2007/09/07] Rebuilt from scratch with uninstaller and added one new game
[Edit 2007/09/24] Extra post-install cleanup routines added, tidied up some folder structures, added 2 brand new (old) games, tweaked configs to stop WordZap creating a desktop shortcut and make Hangman recognise its language file location properly on 1st run

Thanks for this add-on and the others. This is also the reply for all of your add-ons. Please count 90 days from now and than nuke them if you want.

I use this and the other games packs - including the Deadly Rooms of Death addon for some of my bulds and they all work perfectly. Thanks to Mrs P again.

I am glad I left this games pack to update last, cos it was a total bitch of a job to do and these games that I thought were all PORTABLE - over half of them were scattering crap all over the registry and the windows directory, so this was like herding eels to try and write a clean uninstaller for.

I ended up rewriting the addon from scratch and added one new game in there too - that's 20 games total now and I shan't be adding any more to this uber-pack, cos I think 20 is more than enough for a single addon.

I can't guarantee that I managed to track down every single reg entry or ini file these will create post-install, so if anybody happens to notice anything I missed then please let me know and I'll update the uninstaller accordingly.

When I've recovered from the brain drain of rebuilding this I might look at doing a couple more single-game addon packs, cos my friends grandaughter is bored with these already and begging me for some new ones.

LOL, kids! It's so hard to say no to them - even when they're not your own hehehe :D

Aha aha aha, I had a funny feeling I hadn't seen the last of this one yet :D

Found some extra junk that was being left behind post-uninstall while I was messing in my Windows folder today and since I was working on the addon anyway I decided to add two new games (yeh yeh I know I said 20 was enough already - but y'all know how compulsive I get hehehe) and did a wee bit of directory structure tidying up.

Fingers crossed this will be the full final forever-and-ever version of this pack ;)

I read on your website

"Let me know that you use it - or you lose it!"

You have certainly done a lot of work, and I would like to thank yourself and others like you who so willing contribute your time effort and good will.

Best Roly

None of Mrs Peels Files downloads work.
I tried every one and get server errors.
