I've been using this wee treasure forever and on three different OS platforms. It's the only minimize-to-tray utility that has never given me any grief. Very low resource footprint too.
I have made some basic configuration reg entries for this such as start minimised and shift-click hotkey, but if you want to set up custom profiles you will have to do that manually for yourselves on first run.
TrayIt! v4.6.5
LINK: MrsP_TrayIt_Addon_v4.6.5-070816
MD5: 2C2FEB0228847DE4C6FAA2D9768AD6B4
SIZE: 126 KB
Description: Minimize application windows to the system tray
Op System: Windows 2000, XP & 2003 (x86 only)
Builddate: 2006/10/26
Language: English
Title: TrayIt!
Version: 4.6.5
License: Freeware
Website: http://www.teamcti.com/trayit/trayit.htm
Installs to: "%programfiles%\Desktop\TrayIt"
Uninstaller: Removes program files, shortcuts, reg entries and personal settings
TrayIt! 4.4.2
TrayIt! allows to save precious Taskbar space for minimized windows. For each application which applies TrayIt! it creates a small icon in the System Tray. (System Tray area is located near the Clock). When application's window is minimized this icon represents the application on the Taskbar instead of the regular "minimized rectangle".
It is particularly useful for background tasks you typically keep running on your PC all day long like your favorite E-mail client, Real Player, etc.
Features:
* Minimize on start
* Restore window from the System Tray when application is activated
* Hide application Icon
* Match pattern with the window title when creating a System Tray icon
* Load TrayIt! on StartUp
* Activate application by a Single-click on the System Tray icon
* Clicking on the System Tray icon minimizes when in Foreground
* Allow minimizing of the Console windows under Windows NT
* Show usage information when selecting the "Windows" tab
* Set compatibility mode for the older versions of Windows 95
Enjoy (or not)
[Edit 2007/06/22] Updated to version v4.4.2 and added some reg entries
[Edit 2007/07/16] Rebuilt with an uninstaller and updated to version v4.6.5

I just updated this again and noticed that there has been NO BLOODY RESPONSES to this thread for SEVENTEEN MONTHS and not even an effing THANK YOU that I made the effort to update this two months ago.
If you people cannot bring yourselves to make a simple acknowledgement of my efforts then I cannot be bothered maintaining this pack anymore.
SEVEN DAYS NOTICE to let me know that you use it or you LOSE IT!
