[request] limewire (pro) addon method

Post by grief » Fri Jun 15, 2007 2:03 pm

i've searched alot the last few days and haven't really found what i'm looking for.

I'm trying to get my limewire pro made into a addon, the msfn.org had a neat little guide how to make a self installer with winrar, but you aren't able to uninstall later using that method i believe.

I just want a clean default install of limewire (pro) that can be uninstalled etc. i can send my copy of pro if someone wants to do it or just use limewire basic for a example so i have a guide?

simplier the better ;)

thanks!

I use WPI and this autoit installer, but i suppose you can use it during svcpack (just be sure that JRE is installed first)

you did all the work for me, just have the autoit exe in the same folder as the install exe and make sure its named the same as what the script calls for

then i just used the nlite addon maker with no switches.

thanks a bunch! that worked like a charm :D

To test... Uninstall Limewire on your PC and put the autoit installer in the same dir as LimeWireWin.exe (very important the program installer is named this) then simply run the LimeWireInstaller.exe (autoit installer) I uploaded

P.S. If you want to make a silent switch addon. 7zip both and point it to the autoit silent installer or just put both executables (the limewirewin.exe and limewireinstaller.exe) in the SVCPACK folder and tell svcpack.inf to use autoit installer instead of the original limewire

EDIT I took too long to post you found an answer already :P
