[Release] Command Prompt Here Shell Addon v1.2-070825

Post by Mrs Peel » Thu Jul 05, 2007 9:44 pm

Please note that I have since found a better alternative to opening a command prompt using this shell extension here. But I will still leave this addon here in case there are users who still prefer to use this simple reg tweak version ;)

I know there are already a few versions of the command prompt registry tweak released here, but as I am in the process of standardising all my personal registry tweak addon packs and making proper uninstallers for them I thought that some of you might prefer this version instead.

A very big thanks to 5eraph who shared his preferred registry tweak code for this shell command here - and I "borrowed" it from him ;) - I like this better than some of the other methods peeps use to implement this shell command.

Yup, that seems to be the norm of the lurking leechers around here. They park their browsers on the page greedily snatching up new updates 20 seconds after the release post is updated and only ever bother to contribute a comment when the link is offline for a matter of mere moments.

what's your point?

I've already seen that link.

I just can't believe it is STILL down.

The web site has said it's going to be back up "next week" forever!

Z,

I wanted to download this so I can see how you put together your addon, but the file is not found. I know you've personally moved on to Linux, but are you still supporting this?

Hope all is well with you.
