This is a direct integration addon, Nico. It belongs in its own thread in the Update Pack Addons forum.

Your file should be renamed to prevent confusion. It may be based on Ryan's work in this case because he's on hiatus as long as the proper credit is given, but you are the one releasing it. Ryan may still release an updated addon using the current name. I'd suggest the following filename for your addon: Nico_RVMAddonsDX9_1.5.7z

You have to give the advertisements time to load sometimes, Fragbert, even with google on this site.

The MD5 I have for this file is:
  • 3039946CEC6F43CB00C76145AF11BADD

HOLY FUCKING ENDLESS POP UP, ANTI-VIRUS TRIGGERING, PILE OF WORTHLESS DOGSHIT WEBSITE BATMAN!

No thanks bud. That vile link was opening up endless advert windows, reminiscent of a goatse browser bomb - and triggered SAVCE 10.1.6 to indicate a DOWNLOADER threat and automatic deletion. This happened after two advertisements displayed in succession and then had a "download" button to press.

I suggest you remove that link and use something safer like rapidshare.

WARNING: DO *NOT* CLICK "Download"

I'm really sorry for your trouble... (May I suggest you to use a tabbed browser like Maxthon (based on IE core), it will help you to get ride of most of the ads...)

I've seen far worse, Fragbert. Especially from Rapidshare.

Thanks for the mirror, Nico. :)

I don't know what can be called "far worse" than my experience today in the era of XP SP2 and IE7. I've never seen rapidshare pulling any tricks like this, but do tell...

That would be a subject for another thread, Fragbert. Let's try to keep this one on topic and relatively clean.

Took a few tries to get the file to complete downloading on the other host, but I'd rather deal with that than filthware. Thanks for the addon! :)

I am unable to download from the both link

I made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it short.

He, RyanVM, is on hiatus due to it being his final year in college, I think, unless addon makers let him know to update/add their addons onto the ryanvm server through PM. That is the only way and he will be happy to help the addon makers out. He will need a direct link to either on your personal ISP-provided webspace or some other option instead of having to search the thread(s). So keep it short and sweet and simple and to the point on the PM request.

Disregard my advice? well down the tubes/drains for you. Those are the standing rules. Disregard/ignore? well... <shrugs shoulders>. I tried to guide peeps. But if they choose to ignore the rules than their add-on ain't worth it. What else might be included? Just a thought.

Sounds tough? well ... one or two simple rules to go by???

Oh BTW if a good add-on then request it to be added to the stickied list in order that newbies can find real quick. That is a biggy too, imho.

I went ahead and posted a clean/fast link for the addon. ;) I can host any files for you guys too. Also... my forum is open for all users to have the ability to upload and share stuff. But you need an account to upload/download from it.

*sigh* How many times do I have to go over this with people?

1.) Don't update my version numbers to something making it look like an official release from me.
2.) At least update the damn INF/INI to clearly show that you're the one who modded an existing addon. The last thing I need is random people contacting me that version such and such of an addon doesn't work when I never created that version.

Use code65536's addon as an example of the correct thing to do. PM me if/when you've posted something that doesn't imply that I had a hand in it and I'll re-open the thread.
