hi kel, i've just tried your uber pack 4c with ryan's 2.0.1 update pack.

tested on vmware, i got double entries of 'Open With' when i right-clicked on a TXT file.

Image

any chance that this is localized to my compilation?

p/s: i stitched together two screenshots of the double entries.

The second open with is acually a shell extension that lets you have more coices for programs to open something with.

It is being moved to the "Power Tweaks" section.

Kel just to let you know since your coming up with a new release pretty soon. When we right-click on a Desktop icon and go to Power Menu the Copy to and Move to ... option appears twice.

Yes, I do have the tweak applied to remove the Shortcut arrow. Is that causing the problem? I only use Siginet's RyanVM Integrator 1.0.5 to integrate the Addon packs.

I believe Kels' v4.0 pack also contains pre-embedded Registry Tweaks. Please could you list those, I just dont want them to coincide or colide with my custom Tweaks.

Thanks :-)

tnx glent you beat me too it ;), also in version 4 of th pack, the majority of the reg tweaks should not clash with anything, the only reason the remove shortcut causes double entries, is because it removes the isShortcut tweak, which allows the context menus to differenciate between a shortcut and the file its pointing to which is the reason why it appeared twice once for the shortcut and once for the file it refferences, the isShortcut tweak, makes the context menu appear only once, and affecting the file refferenced and not the shortcut.

i suppose you have 2 stickks of ram

test each individual stick, find best one that makes least amount of erros and use it

it may also possible that that 1 stick of ram is erroring

if you find better stick, make sure it is plugged to slot that is closest to cpu's socket so memory drive strenght that flow from cpu to ram is shortest as possible

I thought if I you were using something I have extras of I'd send you one or two of them, but I don't have any extra PC3200 memory...sorry... Now if you can use PC2100 or 2700, I can send you at least one of them to tie you over...It's not DDR though I don't think..

Kel I would highly reckon that you clean your RAM slots as well as the base of the RAM with isopropyle alcohol. Blow dry the RAM slots & RAM before switching the PC on

- Memory
· 2 DDR DIMM sockets to support two 184-pin 2.5V DDR SDRAM (DDR266/DDR200).
· Max. 2GB

is what my mobo supports so I think it would run fine.

Excellent job!! Thanks.

BTW,the MD5 you provide doesnt seem to match with mine. Mine is 73AAD414691267D103E71ABA718B262E,but the size has no problem,7.28M

I downloaded the pack twice using two different methods, result still remained the same. Are you sure the one you provide is correct?
