Correct, garson. This is not an addon. Thread retagged as [Request] until it's made into a proper addon.

I didn't say it's an addon...

I don't need to make an addon for a theme, since every one can put his theme into an XPCD.

Also i didn't try to make addon before.

I hope you like the NEW Royal (theme/addon) whatever.

If any one could make addon for it, that would be nice.

It is nice, but how to use it?
I could not add it to an working windows.
Windows don't say nothing but not applying them.

The only difference appears to be an extra color, Kelsenellenelvian.

vmanda, you need to decompress the files into a new folder in "%SystemRoot%\Resources\Themes\", presumably named "Royal AIO". But don't quote me on that. It should go without saying that you'll need a patched UXTHEME.DLL to get them to work. *.Theme files are not included.

As 5eraph said, you need a UXTHEME.DLL patcher.

It differs in these items:
  • - The theme you mentioned doesn't include the Royal (blue) theme.
    - In my theme I fixed the left border for some windows and dialouge boxes. (which is a bug in Royalmod theme)
The following pic shows this bug:

You mean "compact startmenu".
Here it is.

does anyone know how to remove or hide the text "log off" and "turn off computer" ?

i want to keep the icons but get rid of the text on the side.. any easy way to do that?
for example: http://ludo35300.deviantart.com/art/exp ... -112836917

edit: i think i FINALLY found out how to do it.

there is something called Lspatch http://www.wincert.net/forum/index.php? ... windows-x/ , which edits the explorer.exe file.

however, it has not been updated in a couple years i believe, and i have found mention in other forums that it can potentially screw up your system and remove some dllcache files or something..

another way i found is to manually do it.

"Just open %windir%\Explorer.exe file in Resource Hacker and go to:

String Table -> 439 -> 1033

And in right-side, delete the text saying "Log Off" & "Turn Off" in 7012 & 7013 lines.

Now compile and save the file...

- the only down side to this is you have to disable windows file protection to modify the explorer.exe file

Both links dead, amigo.

I don't think you can really rely on RapidShare that much unless you're already registered with it. May I suggest MegaUpload instead? :)

mediafire does not have annoying captchas like megaupload , nor waiting for downloading like rapidshare and megaupload, perfect for small files (under 100 MB)

This seems to be missing the .theme file. Can this be corrected or can I make one to use?

Themes usually include a wallpaper; these do not. To create a basic theme file:
  1. Right-click the desktop and select Properties, or run Display from the Control Panel, or type the following in a Run box:

    Code: Select all

    rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL desk.cpl desk,@Themes
  2. In the various tabs select a desktop wallpaper, screen saver and appearance settings you'd like for your new theme.
  3. Return to the Themes tab and "Save As..." to save your new theme.

How exactly? This does not contain all the needed files for proper installation much less integration.

Used moataz's updated theme (v.11) to teach myself how to make a theme addon.
Thanks to DisabledTrucker's tutorial and the many existing theme addons in this forum as examples it wasn't as troublesome as I thought it might be.
This is a true addon, not a svcpack one like beats'. (I know zilch about how to make or repackage an msi installer.)
This one has both the normal and compact menu styles with all ten colors.
Integrated with rvmi. Tested in vbox with xp sp3 32-bit only.
No wallpaper is included, (like moataz's zip.)

File: moatazRoyalAIO11_addon_shiner.7z
File size: 1.64 MB
CRC-32: 996bc1d9
MD4: 40c120b2ba8fdefe5b342a7b789aabde
MD5: 13b1e7b297ddc7a9ddaeb5c10bf1f041
SHA-1: ccb0017f48089384c7056ebae26bfbe49f4b3c96

This is my first theme addon so if I goofed somehow--let me know.

@moataz: I tried to keep exactly to your theme (v.11). Let me know if I need to change anything.
