Add-on suggestions...?

Post by Scorpius Maximus » Fri Apr 25, 2008 8:21 am

I love what you guys are doing here. I have 4 PCs at home to maintain and several friends and family that rely on me to keep theirs going. What you are doing here is great!
I am not adept enough to make the add-ons that I want but I would like to suggest a few. If someone feels energetic enough to tackle these I would be grateful as I am sure many others would be, too.
System Mechanic 7
Comodo Firewall
iTunes
Media Monkey
Nero 8 (Yes, I know..bloated piece of* but I already paid for it)
and one of the VNCs
Just a few suggestions and keep up the good work!
Never settle.

There are Nero Lite builds floating around which give you the basic programs to burn without all the bloat. Fairly easy to make addons out of them if they aren't already.

Most of the time it just requires finding the proper switches to pass to the exe to make it install automatically. I'm pretty sure there's some tutorials on here as I learned from here.

you should look into AutoIt... using the scite "autoit recorder" you can easily make your own switchless addons in about 5min once you learn the basics.

and here is the link to the switchless installer tutorial!
