This add-on was extremely simple to integrate.

Unfortunately, I had to download WMP11 from Microsoft and install it on top of the add-on.
The media sharing option did not work. I could not share the files on my computer with my Network Receiver (Yamaha RX-V3900).

I was able to do this easily with Booogy's integration but not with OnePiece v1.8.

Thankfully the installation of the downloaded file from Microsoft corrected this issue.

I can now access my PC files from my audio system. Sharing my media Library is again possible.

Not reproductable, sorry.
If it happens again in your next XP installation, you should try to manually run the file x:\windows\inf\wmdm.inf and report if this fixes your issue.
If not, unpack WMP11setupe.exe file in its 5 components:
umdf.exe ??
WindowsXP-MSCompPackV1-x86.exe ???
wmfdist11.exe ??
wmp11.exe ??
wmpappcompat.exe ???
and run them step-by-step to see which one fixes Media Sharing.

Media sharing may be broken because the .xml files should go the other way around, tell OnePiece to double check these files

seems to work very well for me. That's one +1 vote.......

A question through.

When integrating with nlite, is it now 'safe' for me to delete the original WMP and WMP 6.4 with nlite pending the T13 installation of this addon?

I'm going tgo be testing this but would be interested in hearing from anyone else who has already tried.....

Tried to build French WMP11 addon with the universal addon builder ,but failed both v1.8.1 and now
v1.9.0. I end up with an addon containing all the hotfixes but without the player and half the size.
Building the French IE8 true addon succeeded.

1) Do I Integrate the 1st method "OnePiece_Windows_Media_Player_11_True_AddOn_v1.9.0_ENU.7z" plus "WMP 11 installer"?

2) Can I integrate the above at the same time as all other addons (IE8, WinXP Hotfix, Runtimes, Framework...)?

3) Is there an integration order (1st, 2nd... to be integarted by nLite)?

Ans: nop you integrate the addon only

Ans: yeah no problem in that but always keep the WinXp hotfix or Update pack first after they finish integrate the other stuff

as you can see Microsoft has updated the full installer.
Now if you go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window ... fault.aspx and you choose to download WMP you'll get v11.0.5721.5262
