JkDefrag GUI AddOn 0.1.2

Info:
  • Add shortcut for JkDefrag GUI to Control Panel.
  • Add a menu entry to right click on Hard Disk to Defragment.
  • It replaces default defragmenter, but DOES NOT ovrewrite it, it just uses a reg tweak for this. Default defragmenter is still accessible through start menu.
  • Default screensaver is set to JkDefrag screensaver. This one, after it ends defragmentation, will launch default Windows sccreensaver : logo.scr.
  • Uninstallable
Supported Languages: English, French. (Feel free to ask a language support if JkDefrag GUI support this language).

- Based on JkDefrag GUI 1.03 beta
- fixed savescreener : it wasn't automatically set to JkDefrag savescreener
- added french translation for JkDefrag.Exe
- Clicking on "Defragment now..." button now launch JkDefrag GUI automatically set to the correct drive
- fixed a bug preventing this addon to be integrated simultaneouslywith other addons/updatepacks
0.1.1:
- Fixed a little issue when uninstalliog : entre in sysoc.inf wasn't removed

I know Kal will be updating all of his addons soon to fix a bug that was found. So I am sure he will post a new link very soon.

I actually am interested in using this one too since I am a JKDefrag fan!

i havent tried this yet, but does this one do a better job than what already comes with windows?

JKDefrag is MUCH better than windows built in defragmenting tool. :) And with the JKDefrag screen saver your disk will be defragged whenever it is needed when the screensaver comes on. :D

ccl0 : No, it replaces default defragmenter when you go to properties f a drive, and click to "Defragment now..." button. I chose to let the link to default defragmenter in Start Menu, just in case you need it.

Being able to uninstall it is not a bug, it's a feature ;)

New version released !!

JKDefrag GUI 1.03
Changes:
- Added JkDefrag.exe and other files to the archive, request of Jeroen Kessels
- Added a question to download JkDefrag when it isn't found in the program folder otherwise quit
- Added check to see if CCleaner is installed on local computer and update JkDefragGUI with this version
- Added Ukrainian translation
- Added Turkish translation
- Added /s to commandline this will autoselect "Shutdown after defrag" in the GUI
- Added /r to commandline this will automaticly run JkDefrag with saved options
- Added /rs to commandline this will automaticly run JkDefrag with saved options and shutdown afterwards
- Changed location of logfile when saved in the same folder as the GUI for U3 Devices to U3 Documents
- Created a new icon for JkDefragGUI
- Embedded background image into the executable
- Fixed bug Installer not working 100% when JkDefragGUI.exe is renamed
- Improved internal cleaner reading settings from all existing profiles
- Improved support CCleaner, internal cleaner can control CCleaner settings
- Improved deleting folders IECache and History current user, will not leave empty folders anymore
- JkDefragGUI not packed with UPX anymore to reduce the amount of false positives by virusscanning software
- Logfiles are saved with date and time in name and can be read from within the GUI
- Logfiles can be deleted from within the GUI
- Updated Uninstaller, a registry value was left behind
