tweak MCE

has any one used tweak MCE with this add on because i can not seem to get it to work... any info would be thankfull...

Which addon are you referring to? What is "tweak MCE," and where can we find more information about it?

I found Tweak MCE. Apparently it is a version of TweakUI for MCE straight from MS...

However I cannot understand the rest of his post...

Confirmed, tweakmce will not run on XP converted to MCE with my addon

We need somebody to hex edit it to do so, maybe AMIRZ or Rafael (alky dude)

Aparently TweakMCE fails tu run on some original Media Center installs too, some say all you need to do is change this reg key (note changing reg key will not help if you are on non english o.s.)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Ident to 3

this for TweakMCE and MCE2005 prior to RollUp2!!!!!!

afte MCE2005 RollUP2 MS release NEW version of TweakMCE that avaible from MS site.

may be TweakMCE check OEM status of Windows because MCE2005 ALWAYS was OEM builder software.
MCE2005 NEVER was Retail (RTM, GDR), Corporate (VLK).

and may be TweakMCE check OEM signature in product code?

my Corporate produxt code: xxxxx-xxx-xxxxxxx-xxxxx
may be TweakMCE search like this xxxxx-OEM-xxxxxxx-xxxxx
