Besides, I'd be too damn lazy to put it in a 7zip archive just 'cause poor ol' nLite treats every exe as a Microsoft hotfix.

Hehe, actually, since I never use nLite, I didn't even realize that was a problem until you pointed it out in one of my threads some months ago. I had always incorrectly thought that nLite was smarter than that (ha! ;)). But I already use batch files to automate the creation of my switchless installers, so it wasn't much more to automate the nLite-friendly packaging as well.

As for having the browser auto-install it, that's usually how I find out that there has been an update--when one of my machines displays that message. And then afterwards, I run the installer on all the remaining systems (there's quite a number).
My addons: CmdOpen - HashCheck - Notepad2 - MS Runtimes - DirectX

Into the breach, meatbags!

I saw you posted in Xable's forum about the exact same thing for his WGA add-on. Just so you know, this add-on checks to see if the operating system is genuine (store bought or came with a computer purchase). It doesn't activate or break/hack the activation. That would be illegal and is not tolerated or discussed here at the RyanVM forums.

The purpose of the WGA add-on is to bring a slip-streamed install up to date so you're not asked to re-verify your copy of the operating system as being legit when you use windows/microsoft update. Hope this helps!

I'm an avid advocate of switchless installers in general as well. It's so much more flexible. ;)

The file dates in the latest CAB seem to indicate that it's been out for over six months. It works for XP x86.
