Ya know what go ahead and send it to me I would like to look at it. Plus the reason why Unlocker is placed in the dir it is, is because that is the default installation folder for if you where ever to install a newer version.

Oh yes forgot to mention: Unlocker in modified LitePack is of newer version 1.7.9 :D

Well Kel, u know it is a kind of tydiying up on my end I want to keep my Program Flies folder (which I rename to APPS) as clean and simple as possible so that it remains obvious whre everything goes...

Call it a little simple paranoia on my end... Nothing serious, right ? :P
Will send u a mail later on, I have a visitor over now, so will do it after that asap, OK ?

EDIT: Mail sent to your hotmail-address. Please check if it has arrived or not.

Hi Kel. Love the Lite pack but it's kinda outdated compared to the uber pack. It would be awesome if you updated it. thx

Sorry to say, but this feature might not work. I am saying this since it does not work in the Uber pack and therefore I figured that there is a good chance it does not work in the Lite pack too. Maybe someone else who uses the Lite pack can confirm this.

Thanks Kel, your work here is greatly appreciated.

After you updated from 2.0 to 2.1, unlocker no longer shows up in add/remove programs. So then how should I go about removing it cause I never use it?

www.wpiw.net/downloads/uninst.exe <-- Place this in your Program Files\Unlocker folder and run it. This is the uninstaller that ussually comes with Unlocker so it will uninstall it just like it would if selected from the add\remove section.

I thought Nirsoft IconsExtract was not even included in Kels Lite addons. IT is also not listed as being part of it in your list of things included. ??

Is this going to be updated or is it not supported any longer. I just thought with the reported Explorer problems with the Uber pack (still under investigation) I'd try this.

Just noticed a problem with Cabtool ... While I see it in the SendTo menu, it doesn't seem to get installed. A complete search of the entire VMWare drive only shows the entries for SendTo, in

Code: Select all

c:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\SendTo\
c:\Documents and Settings\Default User\SendTo\
c:\windows\system32\config\systemprofile\SendTo\
DC.

It is the same shell extension in all 3 packs.

I found a smalll issue with your pack. It is referencing a missing DLL, so text-mode setup stops due to this missing file:

d1,dllregsh.dll

Hope this helps!

Thank you much, sir!

Kel, would it be too much to ask that you provide a list of all your addons in your web site so we can always check for the latest and greatest right there?

Thanks and that would be greatly appreciated!

llev,
You can get all those in Kel's Uber Pack.
And TweakUI you can get here or here.

Kel,
How come this pack has:
Hidden files shell extension v2
but Uber pack has:
Hidden files shell extension v1.3
Does this really have a newer version than Uber pack? Or you just haven't updated the list yet?

PS: I noticed the lists in both posts don't contain links to the included apps. I know you're busy, so if you want, I can PM it to you with BBCode tags. :D

I don't see a lot of posts on this addon. Just wondering if anyone else besides me is using this.

I have a couple of suggestions. If anyone else objects, please reply.

Kel,

How about this:
Remove Image Resizer, Open Command Prompt Here, and Run with arguments...

If I'm alone on this, someone lemme know, but I don't use these that much, if ever. And seeing how this is the Lite pack...

And, correct me if I'm wrong, but the first post says that his pack includes Power Calculator and SyncToy. I have this pack installed right now, and I don't see either of them. (Not that it's a big loss. I was going to suggest you remove those, too.)

BTW, you need to fix the [/color] tag at the end of the first post. :P

I will look into it as for the command prompt here (Regtweak it takes no real size) and the Run with argumants (Super needed) the others I will prolly remove.

As for the extra entries it may be an issue with when I updated the first post to the new format. I will go over it more carefully.

I agree with you on Run with arguments... and Open Command Prompt Here.
I don't use them myself, but if they hardly take up any space, no prob.

As for the others, well, I was hoping someone else would chime in and say, "Hey, you can't get rid of that!" or "Let's add xxxx" But if no one wants to object, oh well :P

Ah, and maybe adding TaskSwitchXP ...I was thinking...

God the Image resizer is tiny! Less than 20 kb compressed. The single biggest thing is the Highmat cd extra. Over 600 kb. as for taskswitchxp prolly will add it.

Man, I haven't downloaded this since v2.8!! Has it been that long?!?

And to think, I was looking at the FIRST page of this topic, and thinkin' to myself, 'Why did he add the Recycle Bin tweak'? (Hahahahahah)

Sorry, Kel.
Been busy tweakin' the cafe here, you know. As of NOW, I'm stayin' more active in the forums.

Kel,

Like the way Notepad2 'replaces' regular Notepad now. Some of my customers might freak a little, but, oh well. I like it! It seems lighter and less cluttered, too.

Good stuff, bud!

Kel... NICE!!

I've had a couple more days to play with this thing.

At first, I didn't notice any real difference. So, I looked around in My Computer and started right-clicking...

Background CMD is great! I like that I don't have to go up a level in EXPLORER to open a prompt now. Can't believe I actually suggested a few months ago that you remove it, cuz I use it alot now!! (Well, technically you did. But you just 'replaced' the old one.)

I kinda wondered why you removed Ninopath. Didn't realize that Clipname replaces it. Seems to work better, and has nice options, too. Like the 'Copy DOS name'. I like it.

Overall, the whole pack seems to work faster and lighter also. Right-click is less cluttered.

[EDIT]
Just noticed Ninopath's 'Date Edit' in PowerTweaks. Much clearer and easier to use than the old one.

This is an awesome pack. A 'must-have'.

Good job, buddy!
:D:D:D
