[Release] CopytoClip Shell Extension

Post by Kelsenellenelvian » Thu Nov 17, 2005 12:21 pm

What is Copy2Clip: Copy2Clip enables you to copy file names from Windows Explorer, by simply selecting one or more files, and selecting Copy2Clip from the right click menu.
The program can copy the file names in a variety of different patterns, using the full name with path, just the name, file names with sizes and more.
The copied names can also be sorted by size or time, and you can create your own patterns using the provided variables.
Copy2Clip can be very useful for creating batch files or to quickly convert file information into specific formats.

As always, thanks for your effort :)

This one is very different than that what is does is when you select multiple files it will copy all of their name and/or locations so you can paste a full list off all of the highlighted files. Try it open a folder highlight a bunch of file select copy to clip and then paste the contents into a text doc. You will get a list of all of the files.

Well I got both installed and will keep both, since as Xable pointed out they do both have thier strong points.

Really it would be ideal if there was an extension that combined the qualitys of both, in one package.

Search and replace with in a copy string, which can be helpful...namely when its used for links that don't have root access exposed.
