yes u need to ..MS has updated their dll files.. so if u still use the old one and ur windows is pirated copy .. u wont be able to do windows update

This isnt used for access to windows update.

Microsoft still allows pirated copies to get security updates.

This is used for products that require 'Genuine' validation.
eg. try to get the microsoft antispyware beta

Yes and no. There have been times that i could use Windows Update without WGA, yet other times i couldn't. The main thing for Window's update is the Window's update activeX control. But this still is very useful to have.

actually yes it is legit, and so is using manopely money in third world countrys as dollars, making backups of rented dvds, and if the version is ever updated you can give this one to the wga fairy and she wil give you a silver dollar jijijiji

i got two dollars for tradig in the last one lol.

as for orcoxp the answer to all 3 of your questions are true, if anyone doesnt agree with me feel free to flame and i will present my recently downloaded microsoft antispyware just downloaded yesterday using the cracked wga as proof.

This statement is false because this hacked dll is not required to ACCESS either of the update sites.
However, if the update site points you to a download
requiring Windows Genuine Advantage authentication,
then this hacked dll is used.

Thanks man...that's the answer I was looking for.
But I had already grabbed the files and reloaded Microsoft Update over and over to test it...just didn't want to fuel the fire that burns Shark's confusion...

Although, I had not tested items from Download.Microsoft.Com...Dude this is awesome!

I can't download files from Rapidshare. I've waited for days but the same message "Your IP-address XXX.XXX.XX.XX is already downloading a file. You have to wait until it is finished" doesn't go away. Nobody on my home network downloads anything from that site!

@ kiljaeden Thats RapidSucks clever coding, its reading your isp's proxy ip as yours and grouping you all together, ntl?

Try setting a proxy in the browsers setup, i use firefox for rapidsuck downloads and just change the proxy for each file i want to download, google will point you to a list of proxys, just try any that have a port of 80 and are no elite. Sometimes you have to try a few before you get one that works.

WGA PROBLEM AND IE7B1

My system: XP SP2 + RVM 2.0.1 + RVM addon 2 + Hacked WGA

Installation of standalone IE7B1 failed WGA autentication.

Why? Solution?

P.S: All others functionality of WGA work fine...

Google is your friend. Thats how I found it, with instructions how to correct/fix it's internal WGA,

P.S. I tryed to install only retail version of XP PRO CORP + SP2 integration
After i connected to windowsupdate and only downloaded the basic files ( WGA + fix + installer 3.1) for access in to service.

IE7B1 filed WGA autentication!
This is not RVM update pack problem! This is IE7B1 problem!

I try now to install only XP CORP + IE7B1 or XP CORP + SP2 + IE7B1 without any windowsupdate upgrade

P.P.S. also IE7B1 integration with nLite failed and not install!

Good luck trying to find a "fixed" version, it took me less than five minutes with a hex editor to
fix the file thats readily available on the net. If your unable to follow those simple instructions
& edit the file yourself, you'll never figure out how to integrate even a "fixed" version into an
OS install CD. Which by the way is a bad idea (replacing IE6 with a flawed beta). I don't think you'll
figure out how to do it. You'd be lucky to get this to install AFTER your "OS" is installed. There's
plenty of horror stories on the net & there from people who already had their "OS" installed !

@ orcoxp confirm the distribution dotation of my "CED" is WXPVOL_EN and not RETAIL

1 - XP + SP2 + IE7b1 integrate with nLite function don't work (final error setup process)

2 - XP + SP2 + IE7b1(fixed) is not any good idea for me

3 - XP + SP2 + RVMU 2.01 + RVMA 2.0 + IE7b1 integrate with nLite function don't work (final error setup process)

4 - one acceptable solution is install IE7b1(fixed) standalone (after setup is ended)

FOR ME QUESTION CLOSED!
