Problem with .Net 4 True Addon integration
I have error messages in T13 of the setup routine after I have successfully integrated with nLite v1.4.9.1 .Net 4 true addon (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v4.0.30319.1002_True_AddOn_ENU.cab) in conjunction with .Net 3.5 SP1 (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.4039.1_True_AddOn_ENU.cab) to a Windows Server 2003 x86 Service Pack 2 Standard Edition ( An MSDN unattached volume iso). Here are the images :

Please help. I can't figure out what is the problem. Something with the true addon itself and Server 2003 ??

DotNet True AddOn for a long time are inside the http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5591 (why not try to use the Windows Server 2003 x86 Post-SP2 Update Pack) and have never had problems (to tell the truth all the tests are always made in Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition), perhaps the integration failed perhaps the Windows Setup has problems and not copied properly all the files in T29, integrate addon with RVMi, and not touch any other thing there, and do a test and see if everything OK ?
or try add this addon quickly https://www.box.com/s/e1k0vcoylp58vi98zlfc
if you have problems with Microsoft® C Runtime Library try to use http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8563

Re: Problem with .Net 4 True Addon integration
Well, after a lot, lot, lot of testing [ integrating and validating ] I found out what the problem was. First of all, OnePiece Alb suggested:BetaTester wrote:I have error messages in T13 of the setup routine after I have successfully integrated with nLite v1.4.9.1 .Net 4 true addon (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v4.0.30319.1002_True_AddOn_ENU.cab) in conjunction with .Net 3.5 SP1 (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.4039.1_True_AddOn_ENU.cab) to a Windows Server 2003 x86 Service Pack 2 Standard Edition ( An MSDN unattached volume iso). but I didn't want to use that because it contains- other than Hotfixes and Security updates -a number of applications that I am not interested in. So, using nLite, I integrated all Hotfixes and Security updates M$crosoft released after Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 until today with .Net 3.5 SP1 (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v3.5.30729.4039.1_True_AddOn_ENU.cab) and .Net 4 true addon (OnePiece_Microsoft.NET_Framework_v4.0.30319.1002_True_AddOn_ENU.cab). Among these Hotfixes and Security updates were :DotNet True AddOn for a long time are inside the http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5591 (why not try to use the Windows Server 2003 x86 Post-SP2 Update Pack)...
KB933854, KB953298, KB979907, KB2416451, KB2572069, KB2656358, KB2656376, KB2698032 and KB2742604.
These updates are all .Net 1.1 Service pack 1 updates and it turned out that also integrating these updates in conjunction with OnePiece's .Net 3.5 SP1 and OnePiece's .Net 4 caused Windows Server 2003 installation to return .Net installation errors, a thing very odd as Windows Server 2003 R2 contains .Net Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1 and these updates released by M$crosoft a long after Service Pack 2.
Here are the two .Net setup error logs : setupverifier_errors_04-04-13_10.36.49.txt and setupverifier_main_04-04-13_10.36.49.txt
( I'm using an uploading file service because the list is to big to post it here. Sorry

So, in conclusion, after removing these KB's from my integration list, all OnePiece's .Net's installed and verified successfully.
P.S Thank you OnePiece Alb for your previous quick response and help.

It's very easy to disable Microsoft additional applications bundled with Onepiece's AIO-pack.
Open OPW2K3UP.inf file and put a semicolon in front of the feature you don't like to be installed with Windows
In the example, Windows Search has been disabled.
About your issue,

if these files are missing, means the integration is failed for an unknown reason (modified source, broken addon, heavy Nlite removals, etc.) so the only way to test this is to retry the integration applying true addon only on an untouched CD using RVM Integrator.
I don't think .net 1.1 updates can cause this because they are integrated by Nlite in Svcpack time when .net added in true mode have terminated their configuration for sure.
Consider also Onepiece suggestion to add this addon http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8563

Depends. I believe it is useless for XP and 2003, but works fine for Win7 and I believe Vista. There are several addons already for 4.5, just look around a bit both here and at Wincert. Here's a link to one for example.

As bphlpt net 4.5 is not compatible with XP. Anyway it would be nice a 4.5 true addon for DXWinNT6x True Integrator but Onepiece has little time and hardware resources to make a plan for it. Sorry.

Seems that the Microsoft Update is not been updated and still requires hotfix\update obsolete, so those who want to fix the problem until the Microsoft Update puts everything in place, just integrate with nLite or RVMi after the DotNet True Addon

Microsoft update is still looking for an old reg entry that was added by KB2894842v2 but was subsequently remove (maybe due to leaving you vulnerable.

Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
Is it possible to update this addon and the 3.5 addon with the 2018-01 update?
Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
just wondering if anyone might have a relatively recent .net 3.5.1 addon pack to integrate in windows 7 x86 and x64 isos? I have no luck finding ...
all the platonic solids are created by sexigesimal modulation of rotational action ... the tetrahedron for example is modulo 3
Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
That's because there is no .net 3.5 addon for windows 7. Windows 7 comes with .net 3.5 by default. There's only updates for it. Simplix UpdatePack 7R2 offers updates for .net 3.5 along-side all the other windows 7 updates it contains.
What you need is a 4.7.x addon(probably). Go on wincert win toolkit forum and search for aboddi's .net 4.7.2 addon.

Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
thanks shhnendo -- I'm coming from XP. I thought 3.5 was included, 3.5.1 an option. I was wrong.
I did a frog walk on catalog.update for windows 7 sp1 .net 3.5.1 and out of about 100 files update catalog showed that 25 were still in effect. I'd trust abbodi to get it right before MS but it does leave me wanting to know more ... thanks
7 of the 25 KBs for 351 updates are not included in his update list for WHD 7x86 (MDL) or in the list for WUD by Steven4554 (MSFN?) but MS still has them as valid on the catalog db in any case

Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
My best guess is this is Microsoft's usual update mess where unnecessary/broken updates are offered through WU or the catalog.
BUT! Since I'm not as knowledgeable as aboddi is, I'd ask him directly if I were you.
Still, if you simply use simplix's update pack, you'll be properly updated.

Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
I wish .NET never was.
Re: [Release] .NET 4.0 TRUE addon xp/2k3/Vista/7 x86
do we have a x64 version of this addon for xp/2k3 x64?
