This one doesn't seem to exit when finished. I run this from a batch-file, and it simply stays running (doesn't close when done), causing the rest to be halted by this.

Killing hidcon (*32) seems to solve it.

Tested on a clean up-to-date XP x64 vanilla install.

I think it's the "PAUSE" command in your install.cmd. I removed it and now it seems to close again.

@HJW

Works perfectly; no errors, no issues-perfection-both the .NET and Powershell; clean, fresh install. I run both after first reboot because I relocate Driver Cache in a reg file during runonce.
Thanks much!!!

.NET x64 addon gives me an error in nLite. It looks like it is running properly, but towards the end nLite pops up the following message:

Code: Select all

netfx_x64.exe - This is not expected type of hotfix.
I am integrating this into a clean Windows 2003 SP2 R2 x64 source. I got this error when doing some other updates and changes, but I get the same thing when integrating just this addon. Any ideas?

Is there a special thing to do to integrate this with nLite or it's just RVM compatible?

Waterfox, stable fastest 64 bit version of Firefox:

http://waterfoxproject.org/downloads/

We need to rename and unzip the exe though, because the installer is crap and forces a non-existing MS slavery compatibility requirement to Vista and upwards. Should be unzipped in \Program files\ and uses the same profile as 32 bit version(s), stable fast reliable! Updates fine after that by the way.

Haven't tested updated .NET installers unattended. But that one for .NET 3.5 x64 by Lisabon seems to work well after Windows setup completes. He seems to have kept it up to date for quite some time.

Those looking for an updated .NET 4.0 x64 installer should look at ricktendo64's. He's also kept his up to date for years.
