Does this happen often? I'm still considering other options for serving files, like ADrive.
I do test the download links after uploading, as well as when somebody reports a problem downloading. I also compare the MD5 hashes of the files downloaded to those of the original files. But I don't test every day.
I do test the download links after uploading, as well as when somebody reports a problem downloading. I also compare the MD5 hashes of the files downloaded to those of the original files. But I don't test every day.

Example: My 4shared account statistics: Outcome traffic: 184.168 GB since 2009-01-28
No peoples reported bad md5 or corrupt files. Speed is not verry high, but works everitime.
Single condition: to login once per month into account. Verry intuitive interface, can create
folders/subfolders structure, like windows explorer, for better store, count downloads,
keep statistics, size, date, etc. Folders can be public ( shared ) or not public (personal),
so you can keep and not shared data, accesed only by you when login to account.
Not remove directly, but to recycle bin, etc.
Upload size limit are 200 MB, any extension. Can use single upload or multiupload.
Can update a file without to change the link.
To not be misunderstood, I'm not paid for advertising, she just offer a fair good
service to a verry good price ( 0 cents - 1 login into account per month )
