I have a disk of XP Pro slipstreamed to SP3. In the distant past I used it to repair the system using the procedure outlined by Fred Langa at
http://www.informationweek.com/news/sho ... =189500364
which is now unworkable because of too many updates.I made updated discs using OnePiece_Windows_XP_Post-SP3_UpdatePack_v4.4.0_ENU.7z using both nLite and RVM_Integrator.
Both gave me a disk with different install screens which eliminated all reference to repair. Can anybody please tell me what is going on and how to get a repair disk?

The problem is not "too many updates." It's related to your unattended settings located in WinNT.sif.
