No silent switch exists for the rollback installer.
What versions of the addon and update pack are you using? Minor changes should be made to the addon for use with OnePiece's update pack, but it should still work without that error if no changes are made.
If necessary I will update the addon, but I need to know what is currently breaking it.

Hi, I'm using the latest 4.8.0 as of my last test this past Friday. What logs would you like for me to post?
And unfortunately, the user_hidden addon you linked to is no longer being hosted, so your original addon and installer are all I have to work with.
I use nlite to integrate onepiece 4.8.0, and with either nlite (same session) or ryanvm integrator to inegrate the addon = same results.
Oh and the silent switch for the installer is "-y" as per the 7zip SFX documentation. Just tried in vmware and it works!

Oh well the version of the addon I use is the one linked here from OnePiece's pack thread: http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... 110#1031105eraph wrote:RVMi's log should tell me what I need: specifically, the addon version.
Didn't know about the silent switch for the installer. Does that solve the problem?
The installer indeed works exactly as advertised with no issues. So now that I have a workable switch to move things along unattended in RunOnceEX, I consider the matter resolved. I'm just puzzled the addon results in the error @ T-13, it appears the addon and installer do exactly the same thing?
Yes, Fragbert. It's just that the addon accomplishes the same goal sooner; thus, should not need to go through any extra hurdles, like re-registering MSI.dll.
If you continue to feel strongly about cleaning up the thread, phox, please PM Ryan concerning this discussion or PM user_hidden to request the starting of a new thread for the update pack.
Only Ryan can do that in this subforum since it has not been designated any moderators. The problem is considered resolved, so no further communication on the matter should be necessary.phox wrote:Will you please be so kind to move this discussion to "Onepiece XP Post-SP3 AIO Update Pack v4.8.0-110712" topic!!!

Where can I download KB2570791? I can't find it anywhere, including the time zone blog, and the KB article links all point to KB2443685.
Nevermind. Google is my friend, Microsoft is not.

Microsoft download is crappy after it changed its search engine to the new 'bing'. Well, 'bing' means 'ill' or 'sick' in Chinese, so no wonder it's such an asshole.
I have changed my way searching for updates since then to using 'kbxxxxxx download site:www.microsoft.com' in google. And yes, I have made it a custom search for my browser.

compression level for an addon is not very important...a few bytes more or less... makes no difference in the end, the addon is extracted anyway
also there is an universal law over duality of things
that works here as well:
using the same technique..you can modify an issue at the cost of another...so the higher the compression, the higher the need for resources dealing with it, consequently the chance to receive an error message in certain machines.
I had problems understanding the gaining in size of a few bits... sacrificing the quality of the sfx icon associated with an addon...here and there...and most of them get extracted at the time of integration.
thanks y_h

Thanks for sharing! The curiosity was killing me. This was EXACTLY what I was hoping to find!yumeyao wrote:http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... light=7zip
Believe me, it wasn't the few extra bytes I was concerned about. It was more about understanding the process. The thread above goes way beyond whatever I had hoped to find. Thanks a lot, guys!vodacuza wrote:compression level for an addon is not very important...a few bytes more or less... makes no difference in the end, the addon is extracted anyway
