A Few New Projects

Post by electrogen » Fri May 11, 2012 11:53 am

Hi, it's been a while since i was here. I have been working on a few projects over the last few weeks. Just tools to make things easier if you mass deploy images.
One of these tools is a module maker that makes modules for you.
These modules can contain absolutely anything from drivers and apps to langs and updates. At the moment it only makes one module at a time.
As part of the tool it makes the module and puts an answer file in the created module that is used for another of my tools, "The Module Installer".

The module installer installs the modules from windows PE.
The Module Installer doesnt install the modules as such it just extracts the wim to the chosen area along with a bat file which is called and the payload is then installed.
So if you made a module that contained a driver, the module installer would extract the wim to your chosen driver location. Then a seperate program would launch and install from that directory and all the other directorys.

Eventually there will be over ten tools to make things that little easier.

There is also a recovery program that's in the works that will incorporate all these tools.
This recovery program will create a recovery partition and the 2 OS partitions. along with any other partitions you need.

Let me know your thoughts...

Cheers and Regards

Sounds good. I look forward to seeing it in it's native environment. ;)

It is very different though to the direct slipping method.
