Hotfix Hunt for Windows XP SP2
I'm being told by MS now that KB896906 doesn't even exist anymore. I'm going to give up trying to get it. If someone else wants to try, be my guest.

Dear Ryan,
KB899102 seems to be superseeded by KB899812:
mshtml.dll 6.0.2900.2694 @KB899102
mshtml.dll 6.0.2900.2696 @KB899812
Yeah it is.

Well I never had problems downloading before.
I have three open downloads which all result in an 404 error. that's why I asked. I dont understand why these can not be downloaded.
This is the links:

Hello Ryan,RyanVM wrote:hmm, that is weird. It appears to me that Microsoft actually updated the hotfix with a newer file version.
EDIT: And I actually still have the copy of the hotfix which includes the older build of the file.
could you email me hotfix 892559 portcls.sys with the newer file 5.1.2600.2637?
I requested it more than once but I always get the old version.
My email is knacki99@gmx.net
Good, because I don't email out hotfixes to anyone

i think we have a problem with
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=903250
you can see that the Arpidfix.exe is integrated in a new version..
but in
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=903235
the same .exe is integrated with version 2712
in the KB903250 its v 2714 but the aripidfix only add a line into the registry! how to find out which these are in the new version? or integrate it into the cd and let run it by using winnt.sif?

For what we're doing, I'm pretty certain arpidfix is completely unnecessary

So run a registry monitoring tool. There's plenty of them out there
I still say it's unnecessary.

I am new here on this forum...
That is to say, I have just registered...
But I have been looking around here a lot, to get some insights and news about RyanVM`s work...
Kudoz to him...
Actually I am waiting for him to release 1.3.0 update pack, so I can install my PC with a winXP CD with this pack integrated...
I have deliberately not installed my PC yet with any OS, since I am waiting patiently for it...
Therefore @ the moment I must usde my bro´s PC next doors, to get things doen and to surf the net...
But anyways kudoz to u Ryan !!! keep up the good work

Yeah, I saw that. I'm just leaving the COM+ 10 version of comrepl.exe in there w/o any corresponding CAT files/registry entries.

I wonder if that can fix the problem i have with Yahoo Messanger. It`s worked fine for ages and now everytime i open it i get that error message click ok and it closes. Re-installed yahoo no change. see the screenshot.KB894075 - You receive a "The instruction at '0x7155d330' referenced memory at '0x77cc2cc0'" error message after you close Group Policy Object Editor in Windows XP
Does anyone feel kind today and can send me the hotfix.

In your screenshot the second 'number' consists of only zeroes, which means that the application is trying to use memory that has been previously released. This behaviour usually points to race conditions or just bad programming.
