I will get back to you on that. I'm not at my computer to check this out...I am aware of this problem but its not very high on my list as I cant see any use for Windows Messenger on a server, but I will check it out this weekend

I seem to remmeber the install source I have doesnt have Windows Messenger in it...though my laptop has Windows Messenger installed...

I have just downloaded my pack and there are no updates for Windows Messenger included the only thing I can think of is because the file is not driver.cab it just outputs mmssetup.cab as thats the only one RyanVM modifies as fare as I know I change
  • wms.cab
    fp50ext.cab
I am going to hassard a guess and say its wms.cab as it only have Move against a list of files and fp50ext.cab has move and copy lists which would account for the 2 blank lines

@codejunkie:
2 things:
1: You are missing the .cat file from KB887606 (msxml 2.6 update)
2: You are missing the MS06-061 update for Office 2003 (there is one).

@the_guy
I removed the cat file for KB887606 as its apparently been superseeded thought I must admit the files version is still the same
and MS06-061 for Office 2003 is only required by Office 2003 which IF you install it will give you the option to download it...I will be removing MSXML 5 anyway

@Codejunkie, any chance i could get a "Naked" version of this with out the sp1 hot fixes? i'm going to be installing soon with sp2 beta 2 2805 so dont need the sp1 hotfixes but it whould be nice to have the other things from the "Also Included" list from 1.3.8 version.

Just an idea, could be usefull for other testers.

Thanks.

@boooggy, I have the same thing, it's some bug @ MS side, when you go to a specific KB page for the second time, that errorpath crap thing is suddenly gone. Some redirection flaw somewhere, I guess it has to do with the Live login or something. I think everybody is experiencing it. Although there are some days on which it doesn't happen...

MS keep releasing more updates as the month goes on....& I have lost track of the changes :?

I have 2 very urgent assignments on the go at the moment so I have been doing them as well as tending to my GF :rolleyes:

Autopatcher 2003 Nov...where?? looks like they've skipped a release too.

I'd like to create database holding all the files that are in the updates so I don't miss any out and than expand on that so that the reg settings are all linked to the files or grouped files.

I just don't have the time though :( too many assignments
