I am not sure if it's just me, sorry if it is, but I can't seem to download this add-on. The error it gives is: "The page cannot be found"

Thanks =p

Thank you. I really like this add-on pack, it is light, and contains useful stuff. =p

And thank you for spending your time releasing these free packs, your work is really good.

Kels, any chance that you would consider adding FileDisk ISO Mounter to your lite pack:

http://www.jeffothy.com/weblog/filedisk-iso-mounter/

Or, if you know of another, really lightweight iso mount utility go for that one.......

thanks

Ewwwww I don't like this one at all. I would suggest Microsofts Virtual CD-ROM that is in my cpl all-in-one or just the stand-alone addon I made.

I am however going to do a search for others.

you're best bet would be AwxDTools Shell Ext
its very convenient as a shell ext for mounting images to DT

That shell ext reg code is specific to Daemon Tools which I would prefer not to use.

Kel,

Glad to see you keeping up with this one. I know your "HUMONGOUS" packs are more popular (and therefore, get more attention), but it's nice to see you still updating for those of us who like it "lite".

Kel, if it's not too much work could you add Unlocker to lite addon?

I feel its size is low enough to be considered as lite. And its use is very essential to regular windows environment.

What does that have to do with this addon its not in here?

Anyways I decided I was going to keep it in. It hurts nothing and DOES still add to XP's functionality.

@kels, do you have for this version one with notepad++ lol

or one without the notepad2, huh, maybe one without notepads... or with both ...
 no i really need both but prefer them as separate addons especially notepad2 since i can't use it as a multi replacement
it doesn't offer all the language bit support required ..

OK lemme see I did put defualt install section in the inf so extract the Kels_lite_addon_v4.1.cab with a prog like winrar and then right click on "LitePack.inf" and choose install. It will ask you to browse to the internal cab file so it can get the neeed files for installation.

As for the hidden fies toggle I just tested it and it works fine on Vista!

Simply get the Hiddenfi.dll form the internal cab file and place it in the Vistas' system32 dir.

THEN press the Winkey(thats the button between your left ctrl ad alt buttons)+r to bring up the run box and in it type or copy "regsvr32 /s hiddenfi.dll" and it will register it.

Kel,

Thx for keeping up with this one. I still use it every time I update my XP disk!

Could you update HashTab to 2.1? The new version has a handy little "drag-and-drop" function. It's the shiz-nit!!

I thought of updating it myself, but I was afraid of possibly screwing up something in the "entries.ini" file. Is replacing the "hashtab.dll" and repacking the cabs all that needs to be done?

Don't know if its an issue, but running ESET I got the following:

AddOns-2\Kels_lite_addon_v4.3.cab » CAB » Litepack.cab » CAB » Mmm.dll - Win32/Delf.NRP trojan

I know your work is beyond reproach, may be a false positive ???

p.s. AVG also found it.

OMG hahahh ESET did that?

It is a false positive. Something todo with the way they compressed it.

Trust me though it is the EXACT same file thats been in there for years.

Hi Kel,

longtime lurker here, love your addons. Just noticed a minor issue.

Paths under [Notepad2.AddReg] is pointing to %programfiles%\Notepad2\ instead of %windir%\system32\
