[Release] Win\All (ASPI)

ASPI for 64 & 32 bit windows

unlike Adaptec's official wnaspi32.dll ASPI. this version was maintained to remove any limitations imposed by the official Adaptec's.
pursuing one rule: to make it compatible with CDEx, Nero Info Tool, Norton Ghost, Drive Image, Exact Audio Copy, DVD Decrypter .etc
especially for making cd burners\readers & Devices that are called through the ASPI manager.dll more capable

frogASPI took care of the symptoms & cure for a long time before it got its pet name and its official page @ http://www.frogaspi.org/index.html

despites its last update on 2005-12-17 the file still supports its own legacy in support now in vista as in winXP & win2000 for both 64bit & 32bit platforms ( adaptec's around year 2000 or earlier too...remained the same or "as is" in its policy with no warranty (no changes ever since!!))

this Addon-File is for those who understand how this file can serve them or know how to value its use against their work ...
for those who are integrating/using & distributing the official Adaptec's ASPI, you wont be needing this but its also offered to *option out* adaptec's.

I have two questions on this addon.

1. How does windows know what to do with the file other than the line added to txtsetup? (Does it get registered later or something?)

2. Integrating this in with another aspi addon. Will this cause problems (as long as they do not have the same name)?

1. the file wnaspi32.dll needs to go into %windir%\system32\ unregistered

2. the path (windows\.. ) keeps the file accessible @runtimes, (in this case) when ever a device or app will look for ASPI availability ..

about addons: the file inside the addon alone will manage the ASPI interface.

ENU_user do you think it's possible for you to do one addon using Adaptec's ASPI 4.60 (the one that comes with ForceASPI)?
