Don't ask for a different configuration of Onepiece's XP AIO Update Pack: use one of the existing vanilla XP UpdatePack with your preferred addons instead

Silently updated: now I guess this is the first XP addon which can be unistalled and reinstalled from Windows Component Wizard

link updated: try now.
I don't know nothing about an autoupdate feature of Silverlight: when a new version come out, this is pushed via WU/MU

The first posting shows a link for ENU (English) - not ITA.
Edit - disregard - I read the description where it had ENU as opposed to the downlaod with ITA.

Sorry, wrong link: fixed. Thanks for head up
However the addon is language indipendent: ITA differs from ENU only for a few strings in entries.ini. You can use anyway.

You're welcome, mate!
This one is newer but the only difference is a typo correction which doesn't worth to redownload it: you can keep the Wincert one.

Good News: The Silverlight check page says the latest version is installed.
Bad News: WU/MU says Silverlight isn't installed.

this value in the registry must have a data to hide silverlight in WU/MU
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products\D7314F9862C648A4DB8BE2A5B47BE100\InstallProperties]

Since your Update Pack not updated, Can I combine this addon together with your current version of Update Pack? Is there any conflict to silverlight installation?

Msg "There is more than one instance of component 'Silverlight'. Setup is continuing, however it may not function as expected." appear when I installed this addon together with your UpdatePack. Seem that this addon on not replace silverlight file in Update Pack.

there's no reason for such a message. However if you can wait new update pack including Silverlight 3.0 will be out in a 2-3 days

Thanks for the update.
Of the four places listed for downloading only the top one; ADrive was successful. Others all required signup or had so much advertising I could not find where/how to download.

thanx nonno. I've tried to install by right clicking the .inf , it pops up asking for the main "SLMSslla.exe", might work only during windows setup? Could it be because I have it installed and it cannot access it ? I have a silverlight silent maker from vmanda I used to use for an older version..., do you mind if i am posting it next to your post ?

I would like silverlight installed at the AddRemove section instead of windows components.

yes, It is not designed to be manually executed, but it works if you input the extracted addon path before clicking OK

I rarely do so, but just tried watching Netflix video and got a DRM error.
This
POST describes the error.
I don't think you can test Netflix streaming outside the US, but
LINK takes you to a test video that displays the same characteristics.
Netflix does not work with this addon for me and the test link video stays on "Media State: Opening" forever.
If I uninstall this addon and install Silverlight using the M$ downloaded installer, both work fine.
Is it just me?

The problem is solved by including this registry entry:
Code: Select all
HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PlayReady","DataPath",0x0,"C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\PlayReady"

thanks for pointing this out. Actually there wouldn't no need for that but when Silverlight true integration has been modified to better fit Win 2000 pack, sometimes SetupPlayReady command doesn't start.
It will be fixed. Other solutions are:
- open Notepad and copy this:
RUNDLL32.exe "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Silverlight\4.0.50524.0\SLMSPRBootstrap.dll",SetupPlayReadyData
save as. .cmd file and run
- open Notepad and copy this:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\PlayReady]
save as .reg file and run
EDIT: Addon has been fixed: please redownload it
