doesn't it have to be notepad.ex_ than notepad2.ex_ because when i install windows there are two notepads and i don't like that, in fact i could delete "notepad1" from my windows I386 folder...........
so could Dgelwin or Kelsenellenelvian make an addon that owerwrites "notepad1" .tnx

you cant remove the original notepad for some strange reason deleteing it causes problems at the beginning of the windows installation sometimes. but you can safely remove notepad.exe after windows has been installed, but unfortunately that will remove the abilty to rightclick and print the file, seeing as how notepad2 creater saw it fit for some strange reason to use the /p switch to position the windows instead of print, and forgot to create a switch to print alltogether :(

hi!

what about Gummi Second Edition :) ?

it's different from version 1 (the contains of CAB file)

but both are notepad2.exe v1.0.12..

in fact Gummi First Edition is
Npad.exe & Notepad2.exe

and Gummi Second Edition is
just Notepad.exe (i guess it's dangerous to name like this, because win xp instalation fails....)

Well, i don't know which is the best selection to a new winxp install :D

thanks
