[Release] Marco Maroni Taskbar Calculator v1.4.1.830-070925

Post by Mrs Peel » Thu Jan 19, 2006 11:33 pm

Another of my "can't live without" utilities that I use constantly for quick calculations during my daily work. Remember to activate it in your taskbar settings after installation (I set it to not "show title" to save space) and you will need to reboot your computer to restore them properly after uninstall.

I've been using this app for a few years now and I like that it is always available and on top for when you want to do the kind of quick calculations that I often have to do preparing stuff for my web design.

There is a more recent version of this v1.5.3 but the only new features it has is an updated installer (which we of course do not need) that adds more clutter such as a help file and TCCalcLoader.exe & DLL which is just useless junk to me.

So if you prefer the leaner simpler older versions as I do then I am sure you will be happier with v1.4.1.830 DLL which I packed here too.

Taskbar Calculator: A convenient calculator for windows
It's a simple mathematical calculator, but with a useful peculiarity: it is positioned on the taskbar, that area of the desktop where the list of the open programs appears (generally on the bottom of the screen), so that it doesn't cover the opened programs, making the calculation more practical. It supply basic mathematical functions: sum, multiplication, division, subtraction, percentage, square root.
The Taskbar Calculator uses the Windows settings for decimal numbers. To change the calculator behavior go to Control Panel/Regional Settings and set the “No of digits after decimal” value for the Numbers format.

Taskbar Calculator Special Keys:
“C”, “Esc” : Clear digits
Q : Square root
Z : Insert three zeros
% : Percent
P : Negative/positive
I : Inverse (1/x)
X : Decimal <-> Hexadecimal conversion.

Rebuilt to include an uninstaller.

Please be advised that if I do not get any indication that members are using this addon then it will be deleted from my collection due to lack of interest.

Updated the uninstaller.

This addon pack has been put on Death Watch.... seven days more of no replies and it gets executed for lack of response....

Let me know you use it or you lose it.... tick-tock.... tick-tock....
