[Release] WallPaper Changer -->2007/11/30<--

Post by Kelsenellenelvian » Thu Jan 26, 2006 7:43 pm

Compumatrix Wallpaper changer 2.1

Product Description:
Wallpaper Changer allows you to manage your desktop wallpapers. You can configure wallpaper changer to change your wallpaper and regular intervals from 1 second up. The program can be configured to run when Windows starts and quit after changing the wallpaper or to stay open. The wallpaper can be manually changed by double-clicking the name of a wallpaper in the file list, or by double-clicking the Wallpaper Changer's tray icon. Wallpaper Changer will work on Windows 95 or later and Windows NT 3.1 or later. Wallpaper changer is compatable with any wallpaper file format that your version of windows is compatable with, therefore users with versions of windows without Active Desktop can still use wallpaper changer but can only use bitmap (.BMP) images.

Almost every Wallpaper changer I have used or seen others use seem to cause instabilities in the OS. Anyone used this one successfully and can a bunch of you vouch for this one? I'd like to add an addon like this to my customers computers cause I think it is an awsome idea but I would not want to add any program that may cause instabilities.

Thanks Kel

I have used it for years with a list of over a thousand wallpapers to choose from and this thing has simply been super! I haven't had it crash, sometimes the tray icon disapears when explorer crashes but that happens to a lot of progs. It also is a very small foot print. Plus it resizes easily...

Kel, do you have the URL for a standalone installer?

Actually an actuall installer for this is VERY hard to find so I made a silent, uninstallable installer and added it to the first post...

Ah, yes. I tried searching for the maker's name (Compumatrix) and found a cybersquatter site instead. All attempts I did on finding the 2.1 version on the Internet ended with 1.3 beta.

So I guess I owe you one on that silent Installer, yep :wink:
