I'm going to be modifying it to reflect a change that he made in his newest one (removing thumbs.db). I also might be implementing a better way of counting the amount of characters in the file. I'll let you know if/when that happens so you can make another addon pack (if you want).

I had it announce to me that it couldn't copy cdimage.exe with vmware and nLite during setup. The file is accessible from the ISO and its hash matches the one in makeiso.zip

Thanks, tested and working. :D

New problem now. Tested the uninstall, worked, then tried to go to 'add/remove windows components':
windows wrote:Setup was unable to open information file makeiso.inf
Contact you system administrator. The specific error code is 0x2 at line 2088999312
:(

Thanks and sorry mitsubishi, I think I'll do this pack without option to uninstall. If I install manually in my real system I don't have that error, only in VMware after integration.

If its any help, the problem goes away when this line is removed from c:\windows\inf\sysoc.inf:

Code: Select all

MakeISO=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,MakeISO.inf,HIDE,7

I have revamped some of this code. I'll make a new addon in due time.
