[DELETED] Chihiro Harada's Taskbar++ Addon Pack 1.2

Post by Mrs Peel » Tue Mar 07, 2006 8:37 pm

Here's a nifty little toy for all the gurly boys (pressie for ya Kel :P). It's actually quite useful except for the fact that you have to disable the "Group similar taskbar buttons" feature to run it, which is a bummer for me :(

Chihiro Harada's Taskbar++ v1.2
LINK: DELETED
MD5: *******
SIZE: 238 KB
Builddate: 2006/02/21
Description: Sort the buttons of the Windows taskbar by Drag & Drop.
Language: English
Title: Taskbar++
Version: 1.2
License: Freeware
Website: http://hp.vector.co.jp/authors/VA013430 ... /main.html
Installs to: "%programfiles%\Desktop\TaskbarPlus"
Op System: Windows 2000, XP & 2003
Taskbar++ Ver.1.2
Taskbar++ is the software that allows you to sort(move) the buttons of the Windows taskbar by Drag & Drop and is for the people who care about the buttons' position such as "Mailer is the leftmost!!", "Internet Explorer is next to Explorer", and so on :)
Taskbar++ doesn't change the Windows registory / system folder at all. Taskbar++ is free software.

Enjoy (or not)

:D

[Edit 2007/07/16]This software is buggy and no proper tech support. Removed and replaced with TaskBar Shuffle addon pack instead.

Very nice. :) Thank you!

I was wondering if it was possible since I've been able to do it in Firefox. Do you have an info link? Nevermind. :)

LOL, which translator do you recommend for that infopage? This is what I get with Google in Chinese (I know it's Japanese, but it's all I can find).

Sorry can't help you there Chrysalis. I only build these things, I don't do tech support for them. Best to check authors web site or email him.

Hiya ScOOt3r. Thanks for the thanks. You gave me my first smile for three days :)

Puhleeeeeeeeeease people! What is it that some of you fail to understand about the concept that I only compile these addons from the files the software author provides???????

If the md5 of the exe in my addon checks with the md5 of the exe in the authors installer package (which I can assure you it does) then the problem is NOT with my work.

Tech support and program bugs need to be directed to the software author NOT me.

Please be advised that I no longer use this software myself and it is my new policy to only release/maintain addons for software that I actually use myself in my own windoze builds (and can personally verify as working long-term in a production environment). Therefore I will no longer be supporting this particular addon.

I don't think the programmer is actually developing this one anymore anyway, but if one of our competent addon pack makers here actually uses this themself, wants to maintain it and would like to take it over then please flick me an email and I'll send you my source files for the addon package.

I found a very similar addon called Task Switch XP which works perfectly. It was either on this board or over at the nLite addons forum at MSFN. It was posted in the last 2 months so would be easy to find. Might be worth trying that one for those who don't seem to get this one working correctly.

Task Switch XP is just a ALT+TAB enhancement. It's not allowing to move the minimized windows on the taskbar.

My mistake - I had the wrong name. What I meant was "Task Bar Shuffle V2" which does allow you to rearrange the minimised windows on the task bar, I use that and Task Switch XP and got the 2 mixed up!
