[Release] VirtualDubMod Addon v1.5.10.2.2542-070811

Post by Mrs Peel » Tue Mar 21, 2006 5:15 pm

I have been a faithful user of VirtualDubMod for several years now and this addon pack is one I made for my own personal use which is bundled with all the necessary DLL's and the filters VDMod Resize and Textsub (from the vobsub package) for subtitles.

You will of course need to have the appropriate XviD, DivX and other codecs installed on your PC to use this.

What is VirtualDubMod?
VirtualDubMod is a unification of several popular modifications of the famous video editing software VirtualDub by Avery Lee. It started out as a unification of three projects, VirtualDubMPeg2, VirtualDubOGM and VirtualDubAVS. But since then a lot of new features have been introduced. Among them:
Features:
* Matroska support
* Multiple (>2) audio stream support for all output formats
* Improved AviSynth integration
Enjoy (or not)

:D

[Edit 2007/08/11] Rebuilt with uninstaller and changed install path

Great video tool Mrs Peel!
This one gos right next to AviSynth.
Unfortunately VDubMod is no longer maintained . :cry:
And I wonder if VDub will ever be as good as VDubMod :rolleyes:.
Great idea for an addon ;).

Are you kidding?
They've been working on it lately?
But I just browsed their website last week and the latest news were from 2003...
Thanks for the tip Mrs Peel ;)

Yeh they are sloths with keeping their news page up to date, this is a more reliable link which I use:

See? VirtualDubMod 1.5.10.2 was released August 29, 2005 and not a word about it on their home page :D

Updated with an unistaller, and I just noticed there has been NO BLOODY REPLIES to this release post for over 16mths....

If I don't get some kind of indication that people are using this addon it will be NUKED in 7 days....

Tick-tock.... tick-tock....

Hehehe, I've actually got about 20 utilities for the "new Ripping Folder", but I've been so goddarned busy with real life work commitments this last week (and for the next two weeks to come) that I am way behind my schedule to get those released here.....

Stay tuned tho.... cos I'll get around to doing them eventually hehehe ;)
